The Americans were tolerating taleban in Eastern Afghanistan, when Pakistan started operations in Swat, Mohmand etc Americans vacated their bases on the Afghan side and allowed them to flourish…Pakistan was crying when the same people were attacking Pakistani troops after crossing the borders, but the Americans didnt care…finally the Americans have been bitten by the same people! 31 of them killed in one incident.

Kabul – A helicopter crash in Afghanistan’s eastern Wardak province killed 31 U.S. special operation troops and seven Afghan soldiers, the country’s president said Saturday. It was the highest number of American casualties recorded in a single incident in the decade-long war.
President Hamid Karzai sent his condolences to President Barack Obama, according to a statement issued by his office.
“A NATO helicopter crashed last night in Wardak province,” Karzai said in the statement, adding that 31 American special operations troops were killed. “President Karzai expressed his deep condolences because of this incident and expressed his sympathy to Barack Obama.”
An unfortunate turn of events for the U.S., the Afghanistan people, and Pakistan. Drone strikes and arming tribal groups to the teeth, that is Afghanistan's future. A perpetual civil war, something they are ever so familiar with long before the U.S. ever took a step onto their soil, is their destiny. It is a wasteland and it shall remain one.

i don't think those actual individuals who conducted the raid on Bin Laden compound were among the dead. i think they were from the same unit that had raided thew compound...am i right?
If the same Taliban - or lets say the TTP would do this to a Pakistani helicopter we would be angry - right?

Loss of life is sad but there is clear distinction here, Pakistan is not an occupying/invading force in Pakistan itself.

If you don't side with the TTP but you do side with the Taliban in Afghanistan - then are you hoping that the Afghani Taliban (in case they are successful against the US) will not help the TTP to instigate more violence in Pakistan?
If you think the Aghan Talib will help the Pakistani Talib - then you should be siding with the US - as bitter a pill as that may be to swallow.

I'd support Taliban rule in Afghanistan over the US genocide style of government. So what if talibans don't subscribe to your ideology of spending life? US had absolutely no right to invade a sovereign country....anyways, I guess this is the biggest good news of Ramadan so far........
