Why would an NGO have a vested interest in discrediting the government of India? What could they possibly hope to gain by fabricating stories of victimization, of people we already knew were victims!

And if you consider the NGOs biased, then who’s account should we accept, the Indian govts?

Its all politics to discredit the ruling government. Teesta Setalvad - the main voice of the NGOs is pro-left and married to a Muslim (the ruling state BJP govt is right wing & supposedly pro-Hindu). Need any more reasons ?
