..a Movie franchise which transformed the movie industry, changed tens of millions ..of peoples lives and catapulted sci fi/fantasy into the main stream began

For me, I remember as a kid watching the movies for the first time and from that very first moment..the story of the Skywalkers, R2-D2 and so any others are some of my best movie experiences of all times. While I love Lord of the Rings and others with a lot of equal passion..but this is where it all began!

So all hail STAR WARS

yeah we had the 30 yeat anniv just recently. dinn see any threads about that on GS

I never really like Star Wars all that much. But the I say the last three, and then I went back to watch the first three, and really enjoyed it.

BSG had 30 years over starwars :D
ever seen the old BSG

although there is enough Starwars material around that they could go to Tv and do a series like BSG, but I doubt they would do it. otherwise we coukd compare apples to apples.

BSG although does not have the type of following that starwars does, not even close.
