30 and Still Working on A Bachelors Degree

Re: 30 and Still Working on A Bachelors Degree

I am all for giving choices but at least they have to be sensible ones. The way the world is progressing everything is becoming more and more competitive and nobody would want their child to stay behind. A person graduating from HS is still a kid … they have no real life experience. You have to at least guide them or show them the way. To get any decent desk job, a normal person would have to go through bachelors, masters etc. But if you think that working in McDonalds and surviving solely on commissions etc. for the rest of the life brings stability and thats what they want to do in life, then go for it.
