hiya folks,
i’m going to be in Pk for 3 wks, and have to somehow get my act together and do all my wedding shopping in that amount of time. i will be going to lahore to look for the wedding dress, but it would be wonderful if any of you could point me to some key places to go to in lahore so that i can focus mainly on them.
will also be in islamabad for some time, so any info for that city is welcome as well.

Well, there’s lots of places you can go, depending on how much money you want to spend.
For dresses, Anarkali is good.. i haven’t gone this time yet, but whenever i went in the past (in the last 3 yrs), the designs were beautiful :love: .. rangmaal is also good..Maria B has a store in Gulberg n defense .. Liberty has nice boutiques, however I think liberty is best for jewelry n shoes..

i am in exactly the same situation as you. I am going Pakistan in a month or so with my mum for three weeks and staying in Lahore. We are doing all our shopping in that time, from gold, dresses, families clothes etc...I haven't been to Pakistan for years and most of our family has moved abroad apart from a few old grandmas etc...so I don't have any relatives who can advise me..I have made a list of places / shops etc to go to in Lahore... when are you going? perhaps we can help each other out!! where are you now?
