lets say you have been given 3 wishes, what would you wish for if you wanted a better life?
mines are:
A different dad… because i wish that my father cared for me or treated me similar as to how he treats my other siblings
I wish i had chosen a different career path
I wish i thought at least twice before i spoke anything or did anything- because lots of people have taken me for granted or abused the relationship i had with them

whats yours?
I wish you had thought twice before starting this thread.
-i wished i had stayed in Med School and finished my MD
-i wish my love was a success
-i wish i had my mom and dad's alive for longer than they did. :(
To wish to have a different father .. is a Curse .. there are many people whose fathers pass away at very yound age and they are unable to teach / direct their children to the right path.. a father can only treat or do what he can and how he knows it .. there is something called giving and taking .. if other siblings respect their father the way it should be .. thats the way they will get treated .. but if one wishes for a nother father then ..one is bound to be treated like that ...i.e. give n take .. Parents never choose or treat their children bad .. its how much they know and they do whatever according to what they think is best for you .. so it really is a blessing to have parents.
**A narration from the Prophet SAW that a sahaabiya RA came to the Prophet SAW and asked the Prophet SAW that her mother was from a pagan tribe and she was a non muslim ...and so asked as how shoulld she treat her non muslim mother .. the Prophet SAW replied .. the way a daughter is due to treat her mother with love, compassion.
From this Narration you can tell that even if your parents are non muslim it does not give you a right to treat them bad ..their status as a parent is as high as of a muslim parent.
Hope someone learns a lesson from this. (Aameen)
Now. I wish for the Following:
1) That Allah Almighty forgives me with the Blessing of and Wasila of The Holy Prophet SAW on the Day of judgement and Wish I be raised with the Believers and die as a Muslim.
2) I wish that My son Zain - ul - Aabideen follows the foot steps of the very same Son of Imam e Hussain RA Imam Zain Ul Aabideen RA ..and become a great Aalim.. Haafiz and an Aashiq e Rasool and be a Sadqa e Jaariya for his Parents and Be a success for himself and the hearafter.
3) I wish My Parents stay with me for every step of the way for guidence and shafqat and give them a Long Life ..and They forgive me for what ever harm i may have caused them.
1) That all the bad things in this world to be wiped away - abuse, murder, injustices that occur with women, war etc. I wish for humans to not have these traits. Also this includes replenishing the rainforrests etc
