description. The position is located in Round Rock and is a 6 month
contract.
Here’s the description for the position we’re looking for:
Job summary: Experience with the Linux kernel and Linux
distributions required, preferably Red Hat and/or SuSE. Experience
with shell scripting required, with Python, Perl, or C experience
preferred. Position requires strong troubleshooting & problem-
solving skills. RHCE and/or LPI certifications and prior experience
in a testing environment are preferred but not required. Experience
in server storage and network technologies.
Essential functions: The selected candidate will be responsible for
executing tests for server, storage and networking products.
Candidate may research technology & create new tests. As a
representative of the test group and part of the cross-functional
development team, the individual will be responsible for performing
test activities for assigned projects, providing test status,
providing detailed test reports, assisting engineers in fault
isolation and resolution.
