ISLAMABAD: As provinces are finding it difficult to achieve the revenue collection target set in 2010, the National Finance Commission (NFC) has warned that it would be impossible to achieve the 15pc tax-to-GDP ratio in the terminal year of the award (2014-15), if the provinces continue with the same trend.
According to the second biannual monitoring report on the implementation of NFC award, Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan could not achieve the revenue collection target set by the NFC since July 1, 2010, the first year of the award.
Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa was, however, able to achieve 5.9pc growth against the recommended tax-to-GDP growth of 3.94pc, a target projected for the same period.
These provinces remain far behind in their quest for achieving the target set by the NFC of 15pc tax-to-GDP ratio. The report was submitted by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar to the just-concluded sessions of Senate and the National Assembly this month.
Explaining the measures of fiscal discipline in provinces, the report notes that development funds are being released in Punjab on biannual basis to match transfer of development funds with available fiscal space to the Punjab government.
The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government has committed not to go in the overdraft from the State Bank and the cash balance position of the provincial government with the SBP is satisfactory.
lo ye kaisay ho gaya, ye koi yahoodi saazish lagti hay
Seems like u got it right, keep the province backwards compare to other and later blame that " Hamay Punjab say patsun key boo aati hay".. And as we speak IK have already started blaming Punjab for this... Ethnic hatred is not only limited to MQM or ANP anymore, is it?

Whether it was advice of Ch brothers or anyone else, PMLN accepted it and used it, shows the 'intellect level' of PMLN leadership. Had PMLN not achieved the current mandate level they'd have licked Ch brothers all over.

True that, PML n did wrong...
But the inventor of the term the ch(s) seems to become partners of IK..what intellectual level does that show?
And what about IK spreading wrong info to ignite the ethnic hatred for his political benefits, is it display of great intellectual planning...

sure blame the people who are not there anymore, what else to expect? as far as PTI is concerned they will be doomed just like PMLN and PPP if they don't correct themselves, I do not follow/support anyone blindly. Has PTI already made alliance with PMLQ to form govt?
LAHORE: An opposition coalition is in the offing as the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the Pakistan Muslim League – Quaid (PML-Q) discussed the formation of a grand alliance against the Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) government, Express News reported on Tuesday.
PTI chief Imran Khan contacted PML-Q chairperson Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and PML-Q Punjab president Chaudhry Pervez Elahi via telephone.
It was reported that on May 14 a three-member PTI delegation consisting of President Makhdoom Javed Hashmi, Vice-Chairperson Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Central General Secretary Jehangir Tareen will meet Hussain and Elahi in Islamabad to discuss the formation of the alliance and the start of a movement against the federal government.
On the link, you can see pic of IK licking ch. all over…
And meeting in London with daba peer is planned, and IK’s presence in London was just mere coincidence
