WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

10+ years of progressive information technology experience and responsibility.

Extensive knowledge of Internet application servers (especially WebLogic), Web servers, EJB, JSP, Linux, Oracle, OO analysis/design, and multiple programming languages. Direct experience designing, developing and deploying applications in a J2EE environment.

Direct experience in web development in an n-tiered environment using Java, HTML, XML, XSLT and Web page development tools.

Direct experience with the Rational Unified Process preferred.

Direct experience in the use of Rational Clear Case, Rational Clear Quest, Mercury Test Director and Quick Test Pro preferred.

Experience in bridging data between mainframe and distributed platform environments preferred.

Project Manager:
WORKER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serves as overall Project Manager in application systems integration effort to migrate applications presently residing in the Commission’s Mainframe environment to the Commission’s Open Systems environment.
- Coordinates, develops and delivers detailed project plans to achieve defined project objectives.
- Works with Commission staff and vendors, to design, develop, test and implement all necessary program and project components required to achieve defined objectives, deliverables and timelines.
- Assists in developing reports for external entities such as the Department of Information Resources and the Legislative Budget Board to address reporting requirements.
- Assists in the development and delivery of presentations to the Commission.
- Assists in developing and coordinating weekly written status reports detailing the prior weeks achievements, scheduled tasks for the next week, identified risks, contingencies, and providing overall status reports of the systems migration effort.
- Communicates and works with people of all technical levels in a team environment.
- Provides other reasonable Project Manager services as necessary for the successful completion of the system migration efforts.
WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- 15 years of progressive information technology experience and responsibility.
- Proven experience in managing large, complex, systems integration projects using n-tiered, web-based technology.
- Proven track record in defining requirements, leading systems integration activities and implementing complex information
Systems. - Proven leadership in multiple leadership roles from requirements analysis, project definition, team building, budgeting and implementation.
Test Analyst:

WORKER RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include the organization and test direction of external and internal resources to conduct testing consistent with defined process standards.

Provides expertise and guidance in the creation and performance of Rational Unified Process (RUP) test activities and artifacts.

Utilizes Rational ClearCase and ClearQuest as well as Mercury Quick Test Professional and LoadRunner in the conduct of daily testing activities.

Provides functional verification and non-function test creation and execution that address the full software lifecycle including unit, integration, system, performance and scalability tests.

Provides defect tracking, version control, and build management services.

Receives communications about requirements from customers and business process reengineering experts and translates those requirements into test artifacts.

Creates diagrams, charts, flowcharts, and other documentation to present test information and status.
