Re: 2nd Test: Sri Lanka v Pakistan at Colombo (SSC), 14 August 2014
They are in a hurry to take rest tomorrow. Junaid is also not available

Perera to Abdur Rehman, OUT, gone! Rehman makes a poor choice to leave one that seemed to be heading for the stumps. This is fired in a little flatter on about off stump, would have gone on to hit the wickets at first glance. Doesn’t matter where it’s hit him, because he had not played a shot, but it seemed to hit him in line anyway. Abdur Rehman lbw b Perera 5 (10b 0x4 0x6) SR: 50.00

Pakistan needs 271 and 127/7, same digits 271/127
5.30pm And that, ladies and gentlemen, is stumps. At tea, it looked beautifully poised, with Pakistan chasing 271, having done well to take Sri Lanka’s remaining eight wickets with a three-man bowling attack. But the two hours since have been all Sri Lanka, as first Dhammika Prasad and then that man Rangana Herath dealt one death blow after another. Sarfraz is leading a lone fight, but Pakistan are seven down, and without Junaid Khan effectively eight down.
It looks like Mahela’s farewell Test will be a Sri Lankan win, and a thumping one at that, but this is still cricket, and you know what they all say about its hilarious nature. Stranger things have happened in the past, and Sri Lanka will definitely be wary of Sarfraz, who is in the middle of an incredible run of form, when play resumes tomorrow morning.

He was almost going to save last test but hard luck and yes I agree we have the weakest Test Squad we ever had. But in ODI our bowling line is not good at all.
Re: 2nd Test: Sri Lanka v Pakistan at Colombo (SSC), 14 August 2014
Taslim Arif was wicket keeper and opening batsman. Taslim Arif is highest scorer (210 not out against Australia) and also has batting average higher than any Pakistani batsman (~63) … but his success was his failure too, as even with 210 runs against Australia and 3 score out of 10 above 50, he was only given chance in 6 matches and then dropped (that is distinction that only Pakistan can excel).

I think Misbah should have been in team long time ago, but was deprived of a place due to lack of parchi. I think he is good batsman and deserve to be in team. Only thing that goes against him is his age, still even today, he is better batsman than all Pakistani batsman playing (in my opinion, if not as good than even better than Yunis Khan).
