Give Sarfraz a break. It's his only 3rd test against best bowling attack with a new ball.

new ball dilemma continues.......you cant win a test match by keep on losing half of your team before 50....what YK and AS did is amazing but with all of their hard work, we are still at 250.....and now with another new ball in place!!

At the end 253/5 for Pakistan on the first day is although not that bad of an achievement, however given the skill of Sarfaraz, its pretty much like 253/6.
Lets see how Asad can manage to keep strike and score board ticking tomorrow.

Pakistan started disastrously, but Younus and Asad played sensible and patient cricket and stabilized the innings. At the end of the first day, Pakistan is placed in a good position with a respectable total on the board. They should be able to post a good total for their bowlers to defend. Pakistan’s bowling side is its strength. So for now Pakistan is evenly placed and hopefully they will redeem themselves after the debacle of the first test. Good luck Pakistan!

yeah you are right...
Also really we should be more upset with front line batsmen then Sarfaraz. Hafeez, Naasir, Azhar and Misbah....all are to blame more and the real reason why the reargaurd has to even come into play.

with second new ball in operation and our tail already exposed..i am expecting us to be around 280-310....
junaid is not playing....so irfan and ajmal are key bowlers..although i think tanveer will do well with new ball in the first hour....

Real Kudos to YK indeed...
watching the highlights....except for 1 loose shot, Younis was confident and determined from the word "go". The moment he arrived at the crease, he set the tone. Unfortunately he was out to a very good ball otherwise he would have scored big. I am sure inshallah he will get a good score in the second innings as well.
Just as much applause for Asad as well.

if pakistan scores >300...well we have a chance in that case as SAs will play 4th innings .... and wicket shd break by then as it is a dry wicket...ajmal has a big role to play......Pakistan can win via spinners..ajmal and hafeez need to deliver for Pak to win
