btw, Kamal looks like a person who has the temperament to come higher up the order. At No. 3 for example (in place of Younis Khan), if not as an opener. Wonder what other guppies think.

May be I have said it too many a times, but still I think its no harm in repeating. Asim Kamal needs to practise playing new ball, until then he is fine where he is because one down batsman is mostly playing as the “opening” batsman.

ithe only argument I’ve heard is that he’s not too good with the new ball… which often doesn’t really matter after Pak’s collapse anyways.
