I thought Youhana was unlucky to be out as the ball struck him outside the line of offstump, even though he offered no shot.

DaPakiGuy - good analysis except the comment above. A ball making contact with the pad outside the line is irrelevant when no stroke is offered. All the umpire has to answer is that the ball did not pitch outside leg stump and that the ball would have gone on to hit the stumps. I think it was a perfect decision by Hair.
