Azhar Ali 19, Khurram Manzoor stuck 0 in both innings, are these tailenders or what? Pathetic!
Re: 2nd Test: Pakistan v South Africa at Dubai, Oct 23-27, 2013
**4.01pm The umpires are calling Graeme Smith, the South African captain, for a little chat about something, but its not quite clear what the issue is. The fourth umpire is out there with a new set of balls. And yes, **it looks like the ball has been changed and a five-run penalty has been awarded to Pakisan

Ball tampering alert! Faf caught on camera scratching the ball on his trouser zip. Ball changed. 5 runs added to PAK score 67/3.#PAKvsSA](https://twitter.com/search?q=%23PAKvsSA&src=hash)
and now Younis Khan gone, Pak 70/4 bye bye Pakistan, an innings defeat is all we can get.
Re: 2nd Test: Pakistan v South Africa at Dubai, Oct 23-27, 2013
Why would you tamper the ball when you are winning so easily?
Re: 2nd Test: Pakistan v South Africa at Dubai, Oct 23-27, 2013
May be they did same in 1st inning but didn’t get caught? ![]()
Re: 2nd Test: Pakistan v South Africa at Dubai, Oct 23-27, 2013

Re: 2nd Test: Pakistan v South Africa at Dubai, Oct 23-27, 2013
balle balle, only 301 runs to catch up to. :)
Re: 2nd Test: Pakistan v South Africa at Dubai, Oct 23-27, 2013
this match shd be abandoned..south Africans were tampering with the ball so how do we know if azhar and younis dismissals were fair? i also have serious questions on SA bowling in Ist innings now. here is my logic...if they can tamper the ball in 2nd innings when they are guaranteed to win, why wont they do it in first innings when they were hurt from a demoralizing defeat and their so called honor was in danger
Re: 2nd Test: Pakistan v South Africa at Dubai, Oct 23-27, 2013
There’s no doubt the whole match will be scrutinized in the coming days. I was surprised the commentators didn’t talk much about this controversy. They were trying to avoid it for some reason. ![]()
Re: 2nd Test: Pakistan v South Africa at Dubai, Oct 23-27, 2013
I am not listening..are Pakistani commentators also quiet abt it? SA commentators are knows for their biased commentary
Re: 2nd Test: Pakistan v South Africa at Dubai, Oct 23-27, 2013
^ They mentioned it a couple of time but didn't discuss it much. One SA commentator asked Waqar for his views but even he was trying to avoid it
Re: 2nd Test: Pakistan v South Africa at Dubai, Oct 23-27, 2013
5-run penalty, change the ball, the game must go on, wah wah.

i guess icc have not given them that much freedom where they can discuss every thing with the angle they want.

I don't think ICC can tell commentators what to discuss and what not to discuss.

the diciplinary action is pending...they'll have a meeting soon to announce their decision regarding penalty.

Alfred Pennyworth: Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some people are not looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought , bullied, reasoned or negotiated with. Some men want to watch the world burn.

if all the umpires decide not to abandon the match and move on after the 5 run penalty then it’s unlikely that commentator can say something like all the previous decisions should be reviewed.
Its PCB's responsibility to address this issue, but PCB is not going to be bothered, i think.
Re: 2nd Test: Pakistan v South Africa at Dubai, Oct 23-27, 2013

We were winning the series and SA cheated their way to come back into it
