absolutely…what is the point of 3 pacers in slow wickets of UAE…and the first test our bowling was not the cause of problems, rather the batting in the first inngs

Sami could've damaged SA a lot had he control over the swing/line, he was erratic IMO otherwise we could've been in dominating position EOD.

My Projection for SA @ 365 if this happens in the morning session we have game on!

Guys.. Pakistan want to draw this match, they want, South Africans to bat as much as they can, this will utilize the time.... in this case, Pakistan want South Africa to play till tea at max.. then Pakistan can bat for a day, put some runs on the board, forcing SA to bat again on the 4th day and then Pakistan can easily go for a draw...

For SA to score 450, it would take at least till tea... or Pakistan can bowl them out at lesser total by tea..either way... 5 out of 15 sessions have been used...

on a serious note, this is the approach of our team and captain... they just want to draw the series.. if somehow Misbah did it, then he have chance to be a captain for NZ series as well....u c, our board have done some remarkable work..each player including captains plays their game as a last one... same like the muslims are recommended to offer each prayer as their last one...

/\ Mostly…the umpiring is pathetic when Pakistan are playing…when other teams are playing…the umpires are suddenly in good form…lol

But anyways…we should go for the good cricket and play it out in a normal positive manner according to our team strength and attitude… :jhanda:

The pitch is so dead…SA got in good position and scored an unbeaten 107 runs in the 10th wicket partnership at an RR above 8 before the declaration…lol

Now…Pak batsmen job is to stay on the crease as long as they can regardless of the result… :jhanda:

Kaptaan jee...flat wicket par Sami kab effective hoa heay jo ab hota........Like Damad yeh bhee buhat Lucky banda heay...

Hanibal bhai kee theory main kuch wazan heay....but I don't think Pak played it that way...they just wished that Sami / Gul / Tanvir 6-8 wickets nikaal detay in about 300 + runs....while the rest shared b/w AbdulRehman / Hafeez for anther 50 - 80....but it never happened..

Rather listless Sami threw pies most of the time...

Misbah should have tried more in bowling...maybe even himself to change the poor bowling of Sami and Gul...Younis was only given 3 overs...

Gul bowled 36 for 137 runs / 0 wicket
Sami 24 overs 101 runs / 0 wickets

However sami bowled 0 wides / 0 nb vs Gul and Tanvir. This shows his line was not erratic. Also the other 2 both bowled 6 maidens each where as Sami did not bowl even a single maiden.

He lacks penetration because of his poor length IMHO.

Even Shoaib Akhtar struggles on phatta wickets but still doesn't throw as many pies as does Sami, also the wicket had some swing in initial condition which Sami could not understand/utilize to gain benefit from.

Akhtar has variation and specially he used to have the bigger edge of raw pace of which he shows glipmses of now and then..which sami can only dream of.
and yes he couldn't capitalize on the swing he got..thora dum aur lagana tha magar sami main tha naheen :D
