So far two very very close decision went against pakistan, one on Sami's bowling Kallis was plumb and second De villiear on Rehman's bolwing who was plum middle stump...
commentator said, if you are not gonna give this out, then you are not gonna give anything out....Harper again.....
Its big difference 188/3 and 188/5 ofcourse, it changes the whole complexion of game.....both commenatator saying unlucky for pakistan.
add to that ofcourse Amla wasn;t out.......

Unless there is something wrong with Tanvir I am surprise to see the bowler who took 4 wickets with the new ball, he is not been given chance with 2nd new ball.....surprise surprise....and pathetic captainacy if he is ok to bowl.

Amir Mir sums up Pakistan's day: "A mixed day for Pakistan, they were in a superb position after that Tanvir Ahmed spell, they will be dissapointed that they did'nt manage to get more wickets considering the position they were in."
Tanvir Ahmed picked up four wickets on debut, but none of the other three front line bowlers got a wicket, and that hurt Pakistan. Mohammad Sami, especially, was unable to exercise control over his line, and went for nearly five an over. Kallis and de Villiers hit hundreds to lead South Africa's recovery from 33 for 3. They are sitting pretty now on 311 for 5, de Villiers is still there, and Boucher has supported him well. Can they go on make around 450, which Graeme Smith reckoned at the toss would be a very good score? Or will Pakistan restrict them to under 400?

I am sick and tired of all the negativity displayed by several Pak captains/players on majority of times over last 8 years. I have even given up on idea that some pakistani captain is going to grow a pair and play the game the way we used to

From the highlights, there was quite a bit of swing and seam movement in the first few hours. Pakistan should have done better than 3 wickets in the pre-lunch session. Gul and Sami failed to capitalize there.

Sami was thrashed rightfully by Kallis and Smith, only few good deliveries but rest were pies.

Sami seems to have quite a strong backup. Similar to all the Kamrans.
