2nd Test: Pak vs Aus

I agree with you asif 100% ....this is an unexpirenced line up and they need more batters or all-rounders...Fir instance, they should bring Afridi in, since no one is performing, and everyone knows Autralian batters don't feel very comfortable batting against him, and he can be useful down the order, because in a test match, I wudnt prefer to open with him. Rest of the guys, like Nazir and Taufeeq, he has batted 3 times in the series, once got 88 and the other 2 times 0....now thats horrible, we need someone who is a consistent player, we dont players go go on 0 twice and score 88 runs in one match...there has to be some consistency......and Waqaar definetly needs to go now....his bowling is not what it was...

almost impossible for pakistan to aviod an innings defeat in this match…:nook: hats-off to australia for showing our dreamerz that they can beat us anywhere…whether itz colombo or sharjah…

kitna shor machaya hua tha ke sharjah mein yeh kerdain ge aur woh kerdain ge..hua to bohat kuch…lakin australia ki side se…pakistani to kaghzi-shaer bhi sabit nahin huey… :nook:

The hopes of winning are fading away but if a person should learn something, we should learn from what happend in the last test match. After Australia resumed their 2nd innings, they were leading by 200 runs with 10 wickets in hand, and after their batting collapse Pakistan required 317 runs, which was chaseable, so there is no good in loosing hope, cricket is a game, where anything can happen.

Can anyone tell me why this series could not be held in Australia itself (once the Aussies refused to play in Pak) instead of taking the two teams to Sri Lanka and then Sharjah where there is an obvious lack of spectator interest.
I dont think PCB would make any great money from these venues except for the Televsion rights ofcourse. Maybe the two teams could have played in Australia under a revenue sharing arrangement between the PCB and the ACB.

Rightnow Australia is leading by 150 runs with 6 wickets remaining, if we can get 2 wickets quickily, Pakistan will comeback into the match.
Lets see what happens.

Finally the words of wisdom!

So far the bowles are bowling well, I think Waqar bringing Shoaib for the first spell to only get him warmedup for his 2nd spell.

Damien Martyn Gone Caught Taufeeq Umar & Bowled by Razzaq

Adam Gilchirst in.

Time to bring in Shoaib.

100 by Hayden :k:

**70.4 Shoaib Akhtar to Gilchrist, OUT: outside off, a wild slash at it
and edged to taufeeq

Shoaib should clean up the tail really quick.

A lead of 200 runs already for Australia.

Waqar should have some swaps in the batting order for 2nd inning.

Letting Mizbah and Taufeeq open, they have good temprement.

Have Nazir come down the order, he plays the old ball very well, lets see!

So how many runs do you think Pakistan will make in the second innings. I think it will be between 100-150. With some luck Pak might manage 200. Either way its going be an innings defeat.... This test will probably be over in under 2.5 days.

You maybe right, but then again, they are extremely inconsistent, one day they can be all out in 59 runs or the next day they might just score 400 runs, the pitch is getting flatter as the day goes on, so our batsman can score runs with right thinking.

even an ask of 150 from the likez of pakistan is tooo much…i’ll say somewhere between 75 - 100 … :k: unless aussiez bowl like pakistan then only pakistan will have the chance to cross 100 to salvage some pride… or atleast whatever is left of it :stuck_out_tongue:

and declined by ump Bucknor, hitting the stums

Another poor decision by Bucknor, he already made one yesterday with Hayden, the score would have been much different rightnow.

I get the feeling that now days we are seeing more umpiring errors than ever before.

hehe

72.4 Shoaib Akhtar to Hayden, FOUR, the slower one and its a thick edge
        to third mam
Stops while bowling and then warns Warne from backing up too far,
        Shoaib has done this twice
More fun and games as Hayden decides to step away as Shoaib runs in
