Pakistan shud have done better than this.
All batsmen got themselves in and then got out, Hafeez, Farhat, Younis and Yousuf. Atleast 1 or 2 shud have stayed patiently on wicket and make a century.

Some sloppiness shown from the 2 Y's, after getting good starts they threw it away at the end of the day. From our openers, the fact they even got good starts is miracle enough, let alone capitalizing on it.

Inzi looking in good touch, inshAllah he will score 100 and call the day off (I hope) than let the Windies bat.
We are praising all our batsmen (specially Farhat) but I think there was nothing special in Farhat's inning. See how he got out, freaking after scoring 74 you play this kinda shot to get out? I hope in 3rd test at Karachi they leave some grass on wicket and watch the fising experties of Farhat. It would be really nice to have some grass on the Karachi pitch so we can find out what the reality is.

^Nah I don't think they will unless they win this test which is going to very tough on this batting paradise. If they do win, they will prepare green pitch, Inzi will sit out, "give youngsters a chance" to prove their batting expertise on a good bowling pitch...probably give Samiullah a cap as well.

Pakistan should try to cross 500 tomorrow. Inshallah if they can do it, they can put pressure on WI and may not need to bat again. !!!

^ on the Multan pitch, its not too difficult to get to 500, but I doubt that Pak will go past 400 - 430. I'd have liked to have one of the Ys' available for tomorrow. Right now, the match is evenly poised.

^Hopefully Danish comes good, he hasn't been doing well recently he'll need to take a bag full of wickets to push Pakistan over the top because I don't see Shahid Nazir and Umar Gul repeating their performances on this pitch.

IMO anything above 400 will be a good total, no one can repeat similar performance^^, however we expect our bowlers to be disciplined and patient and it will certainly yield results.

Umar I don’t know what makes you think that it will be hard for Pak to post 500 when you look at this kinda pitch and you have Inzi still on the pitch along with Malik and Kamran yet to come. I’d say on this Pitch and with this batting Pak can even make 600 but the question is when Inzi would LIKE to declare.

golden opportunity for pakisan to bat all say or at least till tea, Inzi is the key he needs time on the wicket, and malik can support him! the pitch is really dead and remember we need 20 wickets!
