Lets see what happens tomorrow, if windies can take say 4 wickets n first session with addition of 120 runs, test match will become quite interesting.

Good fight back from pakistan. Lets hope they don't collapse like they did in the first innings. Farhat has played a very fighting knock. Hope he contoniues tomorrow along with Yousef. And if need be, we still have Razzaq...he can continue batting the mode he was batting in the first innings :p

Show of spine from Pakistan at last. We are not out of danger yet but I was fearing the news of Inning defeat before turning my laptop on this morning. Pakistan must not lose more than 1 wicket in first session and that too should not be of YOUSUF. YOUSUF should stay till end!!!

But playing good in one inning doesn’t mean that he is a reliable opener. He needs to repeat it few more times. Lets see.

No matter what result we may get from this test, but it is obvious that PAK went with a negative mind set, first by not including a third seamer on placid pitch. If PAK top 5 batsmen can't do the job on such a pitch then it is shame. PAK should have gone with third seamer in Samiullah Niazi instead of Razaq. This would have allowed them to keep WI under pressure. Who knows if Pak had a third seamer in Samiullah Niazi, Sami or Naved ul Hasan, they may have restricted WI to smaller lead, and could have been in line to put 200-250 on board, allow Kaneria, Malik and Hafeez to bowl on day 5 pitch.
But Pak first went with an extra batter, and then slow run scoring, which only suggest passing time and playing for draw. That is shame.
Hope they will draw the match, wouldn't be scared of loosing series in third game, where they could go with a third seamer in Sami (present domestic form is good, and will contribute with bat), or Naved (mature bowler and good batter) or Samiullah Niazi (deseve some new blood in a domestic match).

I am really, really very disappointed after noticing the enthusiastic levels in the Pakistani camp. Hardly any emotions were on display when the opposing team’s world class batsman thrashed our bowlers all over the streets of Multan with picture-perfect exquisite timing. Rare mentions were shown of Lara achieving his milestone of century and subsequently, his MUCH MUCH-DESERVED double-hundred, regardless of the number of chances he was given. All of a sudden, Farhat apparently reached his quota of runs and is being hailed as the next savior of Pakistan.
Very disappointing.
