2nd test match SA vs. PAK

When we decided to go into a test match with just 3 bowlers and an injured captain with an inflated ego.

111.5 Mohammad Zahid to Dippenaar, one run, tucked off the pads to square
leg forward of the Umpire
Zahid bowling to a split field and can so easily get nicked for
four, Waqar really should change this field to be more supportive
of the bowler

112.1 Saqlain Mushtaq to Dippenaar, one run, outside off and the
invitation is accepted, push and run far too easy

South Africa 523/4 (113.0 ov)
South Africa RR: 4.63

Minimum overs
remaining today: 67.0

114.6 Saqlain Mushtaq to McKenzie, no run, nipped back as it pitched in
line and straightened sees them all go up, looked very out to me
on the replay, Saqlain can consider himself very, very, very
unlucky

Guess who turned down the appeal? Umpire Venakt!
Bucknor is very concistent with this decisions so many close LBWs were turned down and when viewed in replay it turned out that he was absolutely right!

SA 531/4 at lunch on day two.

Bowling O M R W
Waqar Younis 28 4 121 1 (4nb)
Mohammad Sami 25 2 104 1 (4nb, 1w)
Mohammad Zahid 19 1 91 1 (3nb)
Saqlain Mushtaq 40 2 188 1 (10nb)
Younis Khan 4 0 24 0

3 Centuries already scored by the Pakistani bowlers with Zahid nearing his and will hopefully complete it after lunch.

When will SA declare, 600, 650 or 700?

I would say 650 is the safe bet!

Saqlain shoud serioulsy be evaluated during the preliminary rounds of WC. Most probably he will fail in these pitches. If he doesnt perform well then I say throw in Azhar MEhmood !

Afridi shud replace Saqlain, at least Afridi is an all rounder.

Yes, Ehsan Bhai, blame Waqar for being injured. :hehe:

But if Waqar knew he was injured…he shudn’t have been playing or shud have added an extra bowler.

Of course, Waqar knew he was injured but last time I heard he got recovered. Didn't he?

It would likely Inzi to take command of the team; and we could have Fazl-e-Akbar instead of Waqar but -->NOT!

Oh well, no need for discussion. We are headed for another defeat.

South Africa: 545/4

Cricket was the only sport we were good at it after hockey and squash which we used to be but now it looks like the end of cricket as well...despite lot of talent in our country....foreign coaches...great deals by the PCB for players if they win worldcup and more money and stuff but nothing is working.....koi khaas laanat hai

South Africa 556/5 (125.3 ov)
South Africa RR: 4.43

Minimum overs
remaining today: 54.3

I just wanna see Waqar and all's faces....they shouldn't try to bowl good and just let them score how much they want as they are not gonna win this anyway so let them reach the score they want to and this way their battingwill come early

126.1 Saqlain Mushtaq to Boucher, OUT: slog sweep does him in the air as
it pitched outside off and turned and hit leg stump, poor shot
yeh poor shot not good ball....bi**h he bowled him say somethiin about the bowler
MV Boucher b Saqlain Mushtaq 7 (24m 16b 1x4 0x6) SR: 43.75

South Africa 595/7 (133.1 ov)

Saqlain 3/228

132.6 Saqlain Mushtaq to Dippenaar, OUT: looks to pull hurries on and
looked like the wrongun finds a top edge going high for Kamran to
walk around and take at a forward short leg position
