Oye, can you get another avatar? please.
I NEED TO SEE DOUBLE CENTURY BY INZI
IT'S BEEN A WHILE SINCE I WITNESS PAKI DOUBLE TON !!
By the way INZI hav had a gr8 series batting wise, I m still worried about our 2 S's the pacers
So i take it you won't change your avatar.
"Wisden" Cricinfo, as they try to call themselves, sounds so much like an indian website working out of Bombay (cricinfo is owned by indians, but still they are supposed to be a little more impartial). Check out their headline: "Farhat and Inzamam frustrate India" as if inzi and farhat are 2 tailenders, as if india is on verge of victory and these 2 just survived by blocking bowls, no credit to the great batting and centuries by both the batsmen on an unpredictable wicket. Cricinfo writers should be ashamed of themselves.
So the sore loser kumble tries to deliberately hit inzi, and its ok. imagine if a pakistani player tried to do so, he would have been reprimanded by the board, at least, and would have definitely heard from the match referee as well.
Inzi presented each indian player and official with a gift of clothes and other items after the multan test which pakistan lost. So far Dravid, Tendulkar and Kumble have only returned the favor by obscenities. That too, when they haven't even lost yet. Sore losers? you decide.
Salam people.....
After 3 years of regularly visiting this forum, i decided to actually post replies....kher i know most of the ppl .. by reading their postss...anwayz..Pak played a gem of an innings...Inzi was a treat to watch..amazing strokes. Hamid should be carefull in playing those wide delievery ..its a batting pitch....he could have scored big. Good to c Imran playing like this....i think he has more confidence then Taufeeq. Some bad umpiring decisions...but thats cricket. India got away with it too in ODI. Hopefully Pakistan doesnt loose their temperment..and carries on to score some big runs tomo.
Thanks, Proud Paki.

Inzamam and Farhat put Pakistan on top](http://uk.sports.yahoo.com/040406/2/32lo.html)
LAHORE, Pakistan (Reuters) - Captain Inzamam-ul-Haq struck his 19th test century and opener Imran Farhat his second as Pakistan took control of their second test against India.
Inzamam cracked 14 boundaries in his undefeated 118 and Farhat (101) also hit 14 as Pakistan ended the second day at 355 for three in their first innings, 68 ahead.
The Pakistan skipper shared in two century partnerships, 110 for the third wicket with Farhat and an unbroken 150 for the fourth with Youhana, who was on 62 on an increasingly friendly wicket.
But Tuesday was marred by arguments on the field between the players for the first time this series, one of them involving Inzamam and leg spinner Anil Kumble after the batsman had completed his hundred.
Indian captain Rahul Dravid and umpire Steve Bucknor had to step in to settle the dispute.
“There were a few words exchanged, but it was nothing big,” Inzamam said.
“We had a few laughs and made up after the game. All this is part of modern-day cricket.”
Pakistan had resumed on 61 for one with Farhat hitting Kumble for four in the first over and then driving left arm paceman Irfan Pathan backward of point for another boundary.
NIPPY
Yasir Hameed joined in, immaculately driving Pathan on the up through the off side.
But the 26-year-old was out for 19, edging a wide delivery from medium pacer Ajit Agarkar to Dravid at second slip.
Agarkar was nippy in his five-over first spell, which got him one wicket for 17. He also hit Inzamam on the helmet with a well-directed bouncer.
The Pakistan captain shrugged off the blow, cutting Agarkar behind square for four and then slashing him through the covers.
Farhat, fortunate to survive a close caught behind appeal on 99, raised his 100 in 197 balls with a scampered single to mid-wicket.
But he was out soon after, edging paceman Lakshmipathy Balaji to wicketkeeper Parthiv Patel.
Farhat, playing his 10th test, had scored his only previous hundred against South Africa at Faislabad last year.
Inzamam, who scored two centuries in last month’s one-day series, brought up his 50 pulling Kumble to the mid-wicket fence for his seventh four.
Youhana was lucky to survive two close calls, an lbw appeal against Pathan when he was on 35 and a caught-behind shout against Kumble on 38.
Inzamam raised his 100, his first against India, with a swept four off Kumble to fine leg. He celebrated by taking off his helmet and waving his bat to the largely deserted Gaddafi Stadium.
“We’re looking for a total of between 500 and 600 so that we don’t have to bat again,” he said.
“The pitch has got easier for batting, but the ball is keeping low. There is still something in the pitch for the bowlers if they bowl with discipline.”
India lead the three-match series 1-0, having won the first test at Multan by an innings and 52 runs.
They are on their first full tour of Pakistan in over 14 years after a thaw in relations between the neighbours.

yup! we can also return the favor by using our "useless" S's and have them break irfan pathan's left wrist or something... put the devil to rest.
in se jitna nice buno utney sar par charhtey hain.
all round good cricket by Farhat and Inzamam - and finally Youhana showed some signs of progress! - if Pakistan score 550+ runs before Tea - i think that will put India in tremendous pressure - however don't count them off yet - i wouldn't be surprised if the match ends in draw - and that could only be prevented * IF* Shoaib and Sami straighten up their bowling line!
^ yep, if pitch has lost its green, chances of Umar Gul repeating his heroices of 1st innings will only fade (I hope not).
How about we let umpire decide the targets/result for a match and let players play accordingly. In light of 4 or 5 bad umpiring decision today, one yesterday of tendya and ofcourse, ones during the multan test, it is them who seem to decide the outcome of the match.
I suggest, umpire flip a coin during every appeal and decide heads or tails.
BTW, is't it ironic that pathetic buckner and touffel gets to complain about a player, Patel. When do teams get to complain to match referee or ICC about the umpires ?
Buckner should be retired.
This brings back to match fixing question. Isn't it easier to bribe umpires to fix outcome of a game. You have to bribre only one man who can change a game's outcome. They can screw up, without any punishment and claim they are only humans.
Why would anybody want to bribe a player/s, who can't really control outcome of a game because there are 10 other players who can effect the outcome?
:(
Should Pakistan go for 888 runs in their Ist innings...my dream... :)

uth jaao, subah ho gayee hai. let them play whatever they can tomorrow.
Lets stop whining about the umpires. They all make mistakes. Some good, some bad, some ugly (depending upon which team you are supporting). Its part of life (shouldn't be, but it is) so get over it, and focus on the cricket.
Three Pak batsmen played brilliantly today. Indian bowlers bowled with penetration even though the going was tough. It was a much better performance than what Pakistan bowlers and fielders had put up on Multan, the first day. Even when they were not getting wickets, Indian bowlers refused to give up or give easy runs, which is precisely what Pakistan bowlers do in face of determined batting. Indian fielders remained focussed, agile and active, and not surprisingly all throws are directed at the end where Inzi is running. Pak batsmen had to work for each run.
Inzamam is at his very best. Totally unruffled to the point of indifference and looked completely in control. Youhanna is a class batsman, and even though he looked shaky in parts, he still managed to stroke some classic drives. Prior to that Imran Farhat re-assured us again, why our new opening pair is deemed worthy of being called successors of Saeed and Aamir. Imran played one of his best knocks, though he must be cross with himself to get out the way he did.
Tomorrow will be a great contest again. The pitch is very flat, but some balls are keeping low. Indians will try to get some early advantage. It will be upto the Pakistan batsmen not to give in. Wait for the loose balls (and there will be many) to score off. The only danger is that other Pak batsmen waiting in the dressing room are very green/inexperienced. So realistically Inzi and Yoyo are the last stand, unless Asim and Kamran have some surprises in store. Indian bowling is excellent with a lot of variety. It will be a true test for any batsmen to survive and score runs. Pakistan will try to push the accelerator post-lunch, though its unclear who do we have to get some hitting done.
On Kumble-Inzi incident. Contrary to what some here suggested, Dravid and Sachin immediately came in to diffuse the situation, and they were not the ones to instigate it. Not only that, at the end of the play, when the players were walking back to the pavilion, Kumble and Inzi were seen walking together, talking and laughing and some back-slapping. So the incident is probably very minor and is already forgotten.
As I suggest before, we should re-focus on cricket, and not worry too much about umpiring decisions or someone throwing a ball.

Plenty of batting still to come...if Inzamam and Yousuf could hit a double century tomorrow...possibilities are beyond imaginations... :)
PS: Yassir Hameed needs some mental coaching immediately!
Inzi and Yoyo were the victoms of bad decisions by the umpires in Multan. And because of that Pakistan suffered a heavy lost. No one (our indian fellow) said anything then, so stop whining now.
Its part of the game...
