Because India were 150-7 and at that point the innings should have been wrapped up.
Dismissing the "cream" of Indian batting for a couple of runs and then letting Yuvraj and Pathan score one boundary after the other, is just pathetic.

Consider your team lucky that inspite of some inept bowling by all but one of your bowlers , they had India at 150-7 instead of whining that India has now managed 220+ runs.
I think the moral of the story, so far, is that we need bowlers who can bowl a consistent line and length. The flashy pacers like Shoaib and Sami are a big liability for the team.
I don’t totally agree. There are times when we teams are crying out for pace, but that isn’t the problem here. Despite the pace there has been no aggression from Shoaib or Sami. They are bowling without fire or venom and allowing Pathan to play comfortably off the front foot. No yorkers, No balls pitched at the ribs. These two are serving up runs free. I can excuse bad bowling but I won’t excuse wimp bowling. I hate to hear rumours of match-fixing but watching this you couldn’t blame anyone for believing these two are being paid to bowl such feeble, listless rubbish
Assuming India scores around 275, I dont see India bowling Pak out for less. However one thing in India;s favor is that without Razzaq and Moin, Pak's batting falls into inexperienced hands after No. 5 .

exactly ...and if Pathan can bat like this...does not it auger well for Pakistan as well?

Pathan has played straight but he's not been tested at all. I need to see how he handles a few around the rib cage but so far our 90 mph pace duo haven't bowled one in that area.

It is an inexperienced bowler who has done the worst damage to Indian batting line up today. I think we should be able to take our chances with inexperienced batting line up as well.

Xtreme, Pathan is not exactly a rabbit with the bat... I have seen him play Bret Lee's short deliveries in Australia... he seemed pretty comfortable...
