Pathan looks good but he's not been tested with a few short ones around the rib cage. I see India reaching 300 as Gul apart the rest of the bowling looks totally demoralised and clueless.
Yuvraj is taking care of kaneria who needs to be bowling to right hand batsmen and Shoaib and Sami are going through the motions. At 147-7 India shouldn't have reached 200.

Michael Slater in the commentary box making the same point that neither Sami or Shoaib have bowled short or aggressive to Pathan giving him what Slater describes as friendly bowling.
On a pitch with some grass on it these two have been bowling sterile stuff for me. Our batsmen will be under pressure when we eventually come out to bat and you can bet that Pathan won't be bowling such tame stuff when he has the ball in his hand. The pair of them should be dropped for the final match unless they pull their socks up.
I mean India are 221/7 and my Paki friends are still upset...why is that ?

btw, must say ...apart from Gul...no Paki bowler has done anything of note...which should mean it is not a bad wicket for batting after all...

If Gul was not there India would have been 350/1 with Shewag at 150 not out. The two S are just a lot of hot air. Big on words, short on action.

Because India were 150-7 and at that point the innings should have been wrapped up.
Dismissing the "cream" of Indian batting for a couple of runs and then letting Yuvraj and Pathan score one boundary after the other, is just pathetic.
