There was ZERO contact of the ball with bat.
He gave Dravid out just because Akmal was jumping up and down and appealing like crazy.

Unbelievable. To a naked eye, that did not look out, in a real-time environment. A very bad decision against Dravid. It looked like it missed everything, so close to the wickets, and it did miss everything. That did not look anything close to being out by any means. Third umpire would have been a better choice.

In a way Dravid paid for Akmal's incompetence.
Akmal fumbled with the ball and seemed to be delighted when he finally managed to get hold of it - so delighted that he started appealing and was ably aided by his team mates - such theatrics.

In Sami's case (last test match) umpire was sleeping (same umpire?) and since he didn't expect Sami to take a wicket he simply ignore the LBW appeal and dismissed.... Now knowing Akmal that he can't hold any straight ball and since Akmal held it, it must've been out... or was it that Akmal farted when the ball was passing the bat? :D

Camera-man has put Mrs. Jaffer on display more times than he has Mr. Jaffer. On top of that, Ramiz's over-the-top comments each time, relating to Mrs. Jaffer. Just going insane.

Extremely impressed by Younis Khan's captaincy so far.
He has a very attacking field for Jaffer to put more pressure on him...given that he is on 99.....trying to make things happen.
His only blemish so far in my opinion...is placing Kaneria at an important fielding position such as covers.

Danish Kaneria has always been a local resident in key areas. You mentioned covers. During the reign of Inzamam as captain, Kaneria was almost always used in the same positions, places like mid-on and mid-off. I never understood the fascination of having your worst fielders in areas which, if a right fielder is used, can realistically turn the match in your favor. Those are strategic positions that captains use to set their best fielders in the side.

...and talking about fielding , Shoaib Akhtar simply refuses to chase the ball as soon as it goes past him. I know he is not fit and all....but this attitude is rare at this level of the game. I guess his tear-away 4-overs fast bowling spells gives him the license to escape with anything in other aspects of the game.
Akhtar should be in the pavillion and not on the field if he is not fit.

I am just so disappointed with this selection and with this team. Shoaib Akhtar has become a major liability. Akhtar, in a fully-fit match condition, rarely stays on the field for half a day. He is just so broken down now, it is bringing down the morale of an entire team. The likes of Kaneria with his God awful fielding and that third-class Sami, what on earth happened all of a sudden?
Disappointed with Dravid's decision today. Just terrible state of affairs, overall.
