2nd Test: India v Pakistan at Kolkata - Nov 30-Dec 4, 2

Re: 2nd Test: India v Pakistan at Kolkata - Nov 30-Dec 4, 2

The first target for these two is to stay till tea which is 40 minutes away.

Re: 2nd Test: India v Pakistan at Kolkata - Nov 30-Dec 4, 2

Time and time again we see Pakistani batsmen bringing more pressure upon themselves by not keeping the scoreboard ticking over. They just get too defensive for my liking. Victory was never on but scoring at 3 RPO should not have been so difficult for quality test batsmen even on a deteriorating last day pitch. And if you lose wickets as well in the proces of blocking deliveries, you just make your job even harder for yourselves. The Indians now can have as many fielders in the slips and around the bat as they like without worrying too much about the odd boundary.

I wonder what the 'bhanja' is thinking at the moment. Another failure and I am sure to get another mouthful over the phone from my uncle..

Re: 2nd Test: India v Pakistan at Kolkata - Nov 30-Dec 4, 2

Can someone explain to me the logic of changing the batting order upside down?

Re: 2nd Test: India v Pakistan at Kolkata - Nov 30-Dec 4, 2

and who are you? I am sure you are very busy poster here but somehow I cant seem to remembr you.

Re: 2nd Test: India v Pakistan at Kolkata - Nov 30-Dec 4, 2

The batting, bar the opening pair, has been defensive to the nth degree. You mentioned about keeping a check on the score by at least 3-4 runs per over, and half the balls that were blocked so far, could have easily been put away for the purposes of collecting runs. The decision from the upper management has been a shocker, putting your guard down without as much as an ounce of a fight from the top-order world-class batsmen. Why not just walk off the pitch and forfeit this match altogether, what is stopping from doing that? The decision from people-in-charge needs a bullet in their mouths.

Re: 2nd Test: India v Pakistan at Kolkata - Nov 30-Dec 4, 2

Well Butt was n't allowed to open as he had been off the field for 25 minutes and Yousuf is not in the best of forms. So he probably did not feel good about going in after the fall of those early wickets. Just my opinion

Re: 2nd Test: India v Pakistan at Kolkata - Nov 30-Dec 4, 2

50 for younis, well played :

Re: 2nd Test: India v Pakistan at Kolkata - Nov 30-Dec 4, 2

Thats hardly the point. Whether I post or dont.

Lets not forget this is a PAK forum. So obviously you guys would post much more than any Indians. All I'm trying to point out is the forum members who preach about being sporting and jazz should apply it too. Why does everyone of you pak supporters goes into hiding when your team is biting the dust. You may debate my point and add a bit more of your profound comments but the truth wouldn't change.

And just because you are a moderator doesn't mean you can get away by writing crap that everyone will believe in. I may not have more posts here than you have but I don't see how that proves you've got more cerebral matter than I do.

Take it easy mate. And for god's sake, have a little more of sportsman spirit.

Re: 2nd Test: India v Pakistan at Kolkata - Nov 30-Dec 4, 2

Pak 126/4

Re: 2nd Test: India v Pakistan at Kolkata - Nov 30-Dec 4, 2

Saieen I must have to reply to this, did you even see that ball? I won't call it failure, it was a good ball which definately would have troubled the best batsman's in the world off cutter. Ofcourse the best example is how Dhoni got out to Shoaib, very similar ball, Tendulcar would have find it difficult to play. Give credit where its due specially when its your team's bowler. I think that was a very good ball from Munaf and your Indian commentator's was criticising him left right centre in the same over and then he produces that wonderful delivery......

Re: 2nd Test: India v Pakistan at Kolkata - Nov 30-Dec 4, 2

Where are my indian's brothers now when Pak team is playing well?

I am not here to criticize but its natural that when your team is not doing well you maybe concentrating more on watching on TV, or you maybe out coincedently, and there is more to write when you are excited. So please Pak and indian brother's don't go on and on about it.

Our teams have learn and they are more friendly towards each other then we on forums. Lets create peace here to please and sportsman should be from both sides. we all are guilty of it......And specially words like hiding and sucking the dust are not nice words so anyone can feel offended...Unless you want people to get offended and get angry. To me that is a childish behaviour...

I hope we all concentrate on positive things and learn from each other on every aspect of life rather then arguing on wrong things and for wrong reasons....

Just my views.
