Re: 2nd Test: India v England at Nottingham - Jul 27-31, 2007
England ~65 runs behind with seven wickets in hand at Tea. I expect England to be ~50 ahead with 4+-1 wickets in hand at the end of the play today and be all out close to lunch tomorrow with about 150 run lead. India should win it from here unless England come up with something dramatic or weather intervenes.

^I watched the Semi Final game at Stanford. I got upgraded to a very good seat (immediately behind the players' chairs where they sit between games for drinks etc) and it was great fun to watch the game from such close proximity.
Anyways, I made a good decision not to go today (saved some money). I had a feeling Sania would lose this one. I followed the game on TV though. Sania was just too lethargic and failed to capitalize on her opponent's many double-faults. I feel bad for the desi brigade who had turned out in large numbers for this match to support Sania.
btw, Sania's needs to urgently work on her serve. It was way too friendly...though her low-height forehands are awesome.

Khan to Vaughan, OUT, the breakthrough and it came out of nothing. Vaughan shaped to flick into the leg side, he got an edge onto his thigh pad and that deflected the ball agonisingly slowly into his stumps. He stood for a moment is disbelief before heading off to a standing ovation.

If England can somehow make 150-160 more runs from the remaining 27.5 overs remaining today thereby extending the lead to 170+, we have a game on our hands.
