2nd Test, England vs Pakistan, 27th-31st July

Re: 2nd Test, England vs Pakistan, 27th-31st July

Peshawar, Arbab Niaz Stadium; now that is what’s called “home of cricket.”

Re: 2nd Test, England vs Pakistan, 27th-31st July

Yaar...try afridi now...

Re: 2nd Test, England vs Pakistan, 27th-31st July

England 120/2 (34.2 ov)

with 8 wickets still in hand, Eng have passed Pakistan's paltry 119 already

Re: 2nd Test, England vs Pakistan, 27th-31st July

a 400 runs’ lead on its way :aj:

Re: 2nd Test, England vs Pakistan, 27th-31st July

LOL. Funny thread, I was going to read about the MATCH but it seems people are still obsessed with Mohammad Sami and of all people they choose him. :omg:

Anyway, I am disappointed with openers, Afridi was better as an opener than Kamran. Loose Afridi first, Kamran coming late could have save the match for us just as he did against India in third Test. Very bad decision.

First session of Day 2 will decide the game for us. If Pakistani bowlers give their heart and soul, we will be back in this game. Call me crazy but we are still in it, Inshallah we will win.

Pakistan worst batting line up in Asia:

I would say they are probably better then Bangaladesh.

Re: 2nd Test, England vs Pakistan, 27th-31st July

Yes you are right. Why aren’t people talking about the batsmen who failed so miserably. We know that Sami is crap - end of story.

Re: 2nd Test, England vs Pakistan, 27th-31st July

wow the wicket is that bad well then I have nothing to say; Eng144/2 :smack:

Re: 2nd Test, England vs Pakistan, 27th-31st July

English bowlers were bowling in right LnL and exploiting the uneven bounce while our bowlers are spraying the ball all over (in the wrong places).

Re: 2nd Test, England vs Pakistan, 27th-31st July

Well, yes, if the criteria is set as such to look solely on the statistics of this match alone, which shouldn't really be the case in the first place. Labeling Umar Gul in a same manner than that heap of a trashbag Sami will be an unfairness. Similar to the situation where Salman shouldn't have been dropped from his usual opening position with Farhat, but that has already been discussed to death.

Chances after chances after chances. There is a limit to everything. And what is the deal with the reduction in his pace? Did he even clock 90 at Lord's? Those who are watching the current proceedings, what is his highest bowling speed? Consistent 90s, high 80s or has it now dropped to low 60s?

Re: 2nd Test, England vs Pakistan, 27th-31st July

you lot are crazy...when pakistan are winning you write comments like ' pakistan is one the best teams in the world' 'inzi the great' and when pakistan are losing u say things like 'we suck' and ' look at these jokers'. You don't support a team because they win all the time well maybe afridi786 does, you support your team weather they win or lose, rather than being negative try to cheer them on.

C'mon Pakistan you can still win

Re: 2nd Test, England vs Pakistan, 27th-31st July

:insha: Either Pakistan will win or the match will draw

Re: 2nd Test, England vs Pakistan, 27th-31st July

^ Yes pakistan will win the series 4-0 inshallah :p

Re: 2nd Test, England vs Pakistan, 27th-31st July

Pakistan batting line is worst in Asia but for some reason Pakistan is ahead in ICC rankings (both test and ODI) from the other Asian teams.

How come the Asians side couldn’t beat Pakistan if the batting line up is pathetic. This shows how pathetic the bowling standards of other sides are :hehe:

One failure and look at this response. This shows how immature cricket fans are in subcontinent. They expect the players to grow up but are not willing to do the same.

I have an idea for all such morons. Sign a petition and send it to ICC requesting to strip off Pakistan’s test status after today’s performance.

Re: 2nd Test, England vs Pakistan, 27th-31st July

Sigh No wicket is falling...damn...

Re: 2nd Test, England vs Pakistan, 27th-31st July

40.3Mohammad Sami to Pietersen, no run, short, Pietersen surprised and struck on the side of the neck. Cue helmet removal and much discussion between the batsmen as England’s physio rushes to the middle. That was not so short that you would expect it to get up like that, so the pitch still contains a few surprises

whata pitch, bravo ECB :k:

That’s because you didn’t witness the carnage live like some of us fools.

Re: 2nd Test, England vs Pakistan, 27th-31st July

^ naah... I checked the score a couple of times and pulled my hair while at work, but was hoping Inzi, Razzler and Afridi might change things around which didn't happen either :(

Khair... lets see what happens.
