Not many of us thought that Kenya would have even past the first round but miraculosly they did and now they have a chance to go for the ultimate price but the only thing standing between them is the mighty Indians.

Kenya

The first ever non test playing nation to ever reach this far in the WC, they have beaten all the odds and defeated Sri Lanka who were unbeaten at that time and also went onto beat Zimbabwe in the super 6s. Though they lack the world class player but their team work and team spirit has brought them this far in the cup. They always play with never die attitude.

India

With a very dissappointing start, they have come very nicely so far in this tourney. Winning 7 straight games on trot, and with the emergence of young talents like Zaheer, Yuvraj and Kaif, they have become a very strong unit. Though they outclass the Kenyans in almost every department with the exception of fielding, they must be aware of the fact that they have lost to this team twice and in both meetings they were caught off guard but Ganguly and his men will be sure that they win this match in a convincing fashion.

I predict and Indian victory but if Kenyans keep up thier team spirit, they might just able to pull of an upset.

I think India will walk through Kenya considering what kind of form India is in right now.

One would think so but kenyan are capable pulling of surprises.I hope Indians are not complacent.
It was good performance by Kenya today considering there main guy maurice Odumbe was rested.

Kenya :D

India will probably win it, but they will have to be very careful as Kenya is very capable of beating good teams on their day.

India should win it no problem as long as they give the kenyans respect.

There are a few ways to look at this and in all scenarios India will win:

  1. Consistent recent past theory - Indian bowling weakness has been mitigated with 3 good in-form pacers. Indian batting has been showing immense depth with clear evidence that "If the first three don't get the runs the next three will". So India win.

  2. Contrarian or 'chances theory' - While some may think that India can loose because they've been winning so many, the truth is that India has been winning with less ease than their depth warrants and so this is when they start winning with the ease that they really deserve based on talent and depth. Same theory also confirms that Kenya has been operating too successfully for their depth and so this is when their performance catches down their depth.

All logic aside, it's a game and let's enjoyour being in the semis after eliminating the likes of Pakistan, New Zealand, England, South Africa, West Indies! I still stare at amazement at the list of "not theres!".

Well done India and best of luck!

India were one wicket away from crashing in the last game against Kenya. That one wicket could very easily have gone down. Kenya has been bowling well and Indian wickets trickled last time. So don't be so sure.

India all the way just hope Kenya can do it though.

India is obviously the favourites going in this match. I think Kenya's only chance would be if they bat first and post a total of even around 210-220. Remember this is a day and night match and ball well start to do weird things at night. I think if Kenya bats first and post a respectable total it can put India in pressure. Its a pitty side batting second has to go with such a clear disadvantage but oh well. Lets see what happens. I would love to see Kenya win this one but India probably will walk away with it.

Go Kenya Go!
Hamari dili khuwaish poori kardo…

Remember Kenyan scored 225 in another D?N match against India but they still lost after giving Indians initial shock.

But you are right.Anything is possible.Kenyans can do it.
May the better team win.
