Ok this is the first and last time I utter these words but "Shoaib Malik against India would have been a hands full" as India is one team he always scored against. I guess weakest bowling unit in the entire planet helps the cause. Thrashing India is going to be soo much funnnnnn on Wednesday. For the record, I am happy that idiot Malik is not in the team

MOHALI, India: Pakistan said on Saturday they were ‘fully focused’ on Wednesday’s World Cup semifinal against India without caring much about the intense hype surrounding the big match all over the sub-continent.
“Our players have completely ignored all this unnecessary hype because they know that they are here to win a cricket matches to confirm their place in the World Cup final. That’s our job in Mohali and nothing else matters,” stressed the former Pakistan captain.
Pakistan, who are known for their unpredictability, have certainly come across as a well-oiled, well-drilled unit that is single-mindedly chasing its target — to win the World Cup.
Two of their players are particularly focused. Senior team members — Younis Khan and Misbah-ul-Haq — could be seen sweating it out even more than their younger teammates. The duo don’t even miss any of the team’s optional training sessions.
“The commitment being shown by senior players like Misbah and Younis is really commendable,” said Intikhab. “They are inspiring their junior teammates to work harder.”
“Being the senior players, they have a lot of responsibility and are fully aware of it,” said Intikhab. “They are the backbone of our middle-order and we need them to give their best in the crunch match against India.”
“Both of them are big games players and we have great expectations from them,” he said.

It does not matter which team is statistically superior up to now. Come game time, India will outplay Pakistan in all departments.
If we bat first, 330-350 is possible (OK 400 is stretching it). As for bowling, Zaheer, Ashwin, Bajji, Munaf, Yuvraj with cameos from Raina/Tendulkar/Sehwag can get the job done. Our fielding has been improving. Dhoni is now due for a big inning.
If we bat second, we will not have to post such a high score.
Beating Australia in a knock out game is more significant than beating them in preliminary rounds. Our batting runs 8 deep, with top 7 being full time batsmen.
I hope for our friends' sake (across the border) the game is interesting. But I am not too optimistic.
