glad you see that. Which brings us back to something called depth of talent. This is something that we can assess based on previous records but there iis no way to really predict whether the next game will be part of the 75% that a great player fires in or part of the 25% that a great player fails in.
If you then apply some probabilities based on that, the higher the number of deeply-talented players a team has, the higher the chances that one or two of them will fire. By this given India has 6 to 8 capable batsmen, chances of 2 or 3 firing is quite high. HOWEVER
all this does not stop some inspired opposing bowler finding a turning spot and a twitch of the index finger and roudning up the batsmen for 29! it happened
So all we can know is who deserves to win. In this case India.

Perhaps ICC should just advance india to the final? No let's forget that, let's just give them the cup. Since India has apparently already won based on pure talent.

That’s why no pressure. I had experienced pressure on the day of India-Australia match,honestly.But this is going to be a cool game and we will win it easily.

That's why no pressure. I had experienced pressure on the day of India-Australia match,honestly.But this is going to be a cool game and we will win it easily. :)
Indian captain Dhoni after the QF said on the air talking to Ravi Shastri and he is on record saying that the pressure is on him because Indian supporters would not care about the final but only win against Pakistan. Can you deny that?

^ Had not read Dhoni's quote about pressure re: game vs. Pakistan. Any quote I have come across - he has always maintained Indian players are used to pressure.
As a fan, I was sweating bullets against Australia. The same fear is not present vs. Pakistan.

Indian fans u guys really need to wake up. Pakistan might not have as much talent as you guys but we have much more passion and determination for the game of cricket! Afridi and Ajmal will spin the Indians out! But i think this match willl come down to who wants it most. And i believe it will be PAKISTAN!

I am extremely happy that all the mosques in Bangalore on friday announced their well-wishes and prayers for Team India ,after the Juma prayers. Do we need more?
Ohhh the great Almighty Allah ,grants us a great victory over Pakistan.
Also my special prayers to Khwaja of Ajmer.I had prayed and promised him during the India -Aus match that I would come and offer my prayers at his Durgha if he helped us win over Aus.He heede my prayers . I am sure Khwaja will grant us one more great victory over Pakistan…

Regarding pressure, the way I see it - the fact that Dhoni had to mention about the pressure from outside is itself evidence of something he is aware of but trying not to take it. Now the indians fan on grounds we have known to see in many years - I am sure Dhoni must be in home ground pressure as he suggested.

Pfft. Seems like Indian fans change their tune pretty quickly. One minute it’s “We felt pressured against Australia, but Pakistan’s too easy.” Next minute it’s “oh every match is the same to us.”
