** West Indies 116/1 (21.5 ov)
Zimbabwe
** Zimbabwe won the toss and elected to field first
Zimbabwe won the first ODI against WI couple of days ago thus pulling a HUGE upset out of no where. WI put them in after winning the toss and Zimbabwe went on to score 270+ runs. windies couldn’t match the stoke play n finally lost the match by some 40 odd runs. gayle is the current captain and it was not a very impressive performance by him or the windies. currently 2nd ODI is on and Zimbabwe had put in the WI to bat after winning the toss. not a good start again by the windies but gayle and morton are in punishing mood and have put on a partnership of 117 runs so far.
2.1 Dabengwa to Samuels, **OUT, tossed up outside the leg stump, Samuels sweeps and looks to have got something on it as it flies behind Taibu, who turns around and puts in a dive to take a great catch. Wonderful stuff.
MN Samuels c Taibu b Dabengwa 43 (43b 1x4 3x6) SR: 100.00
**healthy total by WI. will be a tough ask for the zimbabweans but they do have taibu and taylor who can score some quick runs to keep zimbabew in the match.
** West Indies 286/9 (50 ov)
Zimbabwe 64/6 (20.5 ov)
** Zimbabwe require another 223 runs with 4 wickets and 29.1 overs remaining
what a collapse by the Zimbabweans. at this very same ground they won their last match against WI. then they were put in by the WI after winning the toss. don't know why ZIM put in WI when they knew it won't be easy to chase.
