yeah, even though it seems that he kicked it. And the Indian media will surely be saying that, but Zaheer pushed him from behind as he tried to turn back and get to the crease.

As a Indian, I would say it was obstruction, on the other hand a pakistani wold actually say no it was, infact Zaheer obstructed Malik..hmmm..
I think I would go with the comments of commentator( I think Dean Jones-not so sure)who was completely taken back by what was happening. I mean Malik had all the space to run, but no he had to run in the plane of the ball and then stop near the ball and kick it..for Gods sake, yes we Indians are going to cry, bit## abt it , But the truth is truth..nobody ain't gonna cover it up..
I am sorry to say but why can't we look beyond the nationalities covering our eyes..

Malik did kick the ball but he was smart to do it only when Zaheer bumped into him. Zaheer was his 'get out of jail free' card. Sad that he had to use this tactic.

He did not kick it away intentionally... if you look at the video, his foot got stuck on the ground and once it came off it hit the ball. Not malik's fault.

Well, maybe because were seeing ultra motion that's what it looks like he kicked the ball. If you look at normal video it wouldn't look like he kicked it. If he did kick it, he's a fast thinking, you can tell by the shot he made over dhoni!!
