I hate Hassan Nisaar. he is a karaye ka "intellectual". his only job is to spread pessimism in this country. pay him enough and he will say anything against anybody. never seen him say anything positive about anybody (except for MQM but we all know why that is).

he was the pick of bowlers in T20 and again in two ODI he was the pick of the bowlers
He aint 100 percent but still he is better than Gul and Irfan

I must say this... Salman Butt was a better captain than Afridi. Afridi's field placing sucked! Gave away so many unnecessary singles. He should've tried to choke the singles to put pressure on the batsmen. That's where we lost the game.

yeah, Afridi was the captain when Broad scored 100.. :\

Ya when Shoaib was win, we never lost a single match in Australia and else where.... he performer "Brilliantly" in 1st two T20s against Australia in the beginning of this trip... and if i am not wrong you were the biggest supporter of Afridi when he was made captain of Pakistani team..

im only talking about this series not the series against Aus

well you should have more patience to listen to other people's viewpoint...for instance, i may not be very optimistic lately (and there are valid reasons for that) but we have been listening to your unending pessimistic blabbing forvever....especially against certain players no matter how well they perform....no one blamed you for being a karaye ka "intellectual"....

now that is a u turn.. isn’t it.. Shoaib Akhtar was not in Australian tour where Pakistan was thrashed 9-0 ( i guess)… or was he???
more over, did Pakistan won a series in Australia??? in 2002… i didn’t knew that, i thought we only won a match or two there… but if Pakistan did won a series back then… it is good

anyway, if you were talking about shoaib akhtar, still his performance was not decent enough to defend a total of 294... to me with his experience, he should have done better. 49/1 in 8 overs with economy of 6.12 is not even near to be good... i don't know how you find it good.. check again

I think he can be used in English conditions and T20s in Asia... i don't think we would be able to bowl his quota of 10 overs in UAE or in South Asia....

I do not know why some people are blasting Shoaib Akhtar here. Figures of 8-0-49-1 are not great but 2nd ODI was a high scoring affair. Remember he was the most economical Pak bowler in the 1st ODI (8 overs, 28 runs)!
And in the likely absence of both Aamer and Asif, Akhtar IS needed for next year's world cup

thank you! The guy has been such a pain to read on these forums due to his constant nagging and his blind and senseless hatred toward certain players. Plus he thinks he is the only one who knows whats going on this world and everyone else doesn't know crap.
