thats Ehsan bhai’s fav line although he doesnt remember home series defeat to ZIMB and not able to score 120 runs in 2 inning of a test match.

What a great match. Although, the Pakistani fielding the most horrible fielding I have ever witnessed...the bowlers did an awesome job and kept fighting it out. All the bowlers were very good. Yousuf once again showed his class and Malik played a captain's knock and got the run rate going.
I must say, once Malik went off the field with an injury, and Younus took over, Pakistan seemed a lot more energized. The more I see Younus's captaincy, the more sad I get, its a pity to see such a guy who has so much potential to be a good captain refusing captaincy. We don't even know why he refused it, but whatever the reason, its a loss for Pakistan. He has aggression, he has plans for batsmen, and motivates all the players so well. Thats something which I see lacking in Malik. Malik himself needs to be more talkitive and buck up the players like Younus was doing, and I believe thats a big reason why we won today's game. The players never gave up, even with horrible fielding and 5 dropped catches.
Malik's comments afterwards told their own story of how insecure he is. When asked about Younu's captaincy, he said we are one family and it doesn't matter who the captain is but I will still thank Younus for his captaincy. It clearly shows that Malik knew Younus did a much better job than what Malik himself would have done.
Anyway, off to Faislabad now, I hope the Pakistani bowlers can continue this momentum, and hopefully openers can click as well.

^ lack of experience in Malik other wise malik is also a good captain.
Younis ....another story, talent, experience, scored in each form of the game, captain that was groomed, however
HOT HEADED!!!!
and the last takes the icing off his cake and replaces it with vinegar.
Malik, is calm, cool, but no where near in experience specially at the test level.
Ideally what we need with Younis is for him to give up his ego and take up VC with Malik. or PCB replace Malik with YouniS and put Malik as VC..let him get groomed under Younis.
But all of the latter is wishful thinking in Pakistan. "gadha" khan attitude is a big impediment in our culture.
