what a great last over by jayasuriya.
i was depressed after pakistan's batting today but this more than made up for it. after pakistan sri lanka are now my favourites for the world cup.

india really did choke in the end....
they had the game easily set for a win....
but dhoni cud not make anything out of it....
he really needed to keep the strike.....
this is not how your last 2 overs shud look when u just need 14 off 12 balls....

Both SL and ENG won. I am happy but what will PAK do. May be two victories and one loss for my teams.

and quite predictably.
India managed to lose a game that they were winning comfortably at the half way stage. That's always been their bane and ours too..........lack of professionalism and consistency. Pakistan also showed their mercurial side with another spineless and shocking batting display against SA today. The Aussies who won 7 of their 8 group games have quite simply been pathetic against England in the finals. That's one-day cricket for you. Who would have thought that a week ago when England were bundled out for 120 and 110 against NZ and Australia respectively.

Lack of one good allrounder has been the downfall for India, you need atlease one decent allrounder to finish off tight game like this.

wow i thought the match was gone for the lankans with india needed 5 runs an over in the last 5.great bowling by malinga and jaysurya towards the end...and great captaincy and fielding by lankans.srlanka definitely has the best fielders and captain in asia.
