Re: 2nd ODI: Australia v India at Brisbane, Jan 15, 2016

Yes, Rohit has played well. Especially today with his good strike rate. But I dont like any player slowing down in his 90s in one day cricket. Which he did today.

In 1st match he shoukd have batted faster with indian having lost onky one wicket and about 20 overs to go.

Thanks for your valuable input :hat:

How About Dhoni ? Why he is thinking that he is only hard hitter in team :konfused:

Re: 2nd ODI: Australia v India at Brisbane, Jan 15, 2016

I have been irritated at Dhoni for last 2 years. He has done nothing in that time span. Why have Manish Panda in the team and not give him some exposure? He always promotes himself. But no longer has the skills to push the scoring rate.

Selfless Rahane played suberb.

India this time faded in last 10 overs.

Re: 2nd ODI: Australia v India at Brisbane, Jan 15, 2016

Australia 199/2 (35.0 ov)
Australia require another 110 runs with 8 wickets and 15.0 overs remaining

Re: 2nd ODI: Australia v India at Brisbane, Jan 15, 2016

score level and India going to lose another match

48.5
Yadav to Maxwell, FOUR, there is his first of the match, and scores are level. It's a short ball, Maxi camps back and pummels it wide of long-on

Re: 2nd ODI: Australia v India at Brisbane, Jan 15, 2016

India lost even today warner, hazelwood and marsh didn’t play this game. I think they should give rest to smith and bailey too :cb:

Re: 2nd ODI: Australia v India at Brisbane, Jan 15, 2016

Didn't watch Aussie batting. Nohit go bogged down in the 90s. Maybe that is what differentiates the two teams. Aussies don't care for stats. DE velliers from S Africa just pummel the bowling regardless of his score in ODI or 20 overs. Doesn't care if he is nineties or teens. Nohit was offering proper defensive strokes in the 90s. When it was more appropriate to put pedal to the metal.

That is because Indian commentators put too much emphasis on landmarks such as centuries.

Play your game. Keep the teams needs first. A fast 90 with strike of 125 is better than a hundred at strike rate of 98.5.

Dhoni is not a number 5 batsman. He does not have ability to accelerate either.

Re: 2nd ODI: Australia v India at Brisbane, Jan 15, 2016

For India's sake, Rohit please don't score a hundred..

99 would do..

Re: 2nd ODI: Australia v India at Brisbane, Jan 15, 2016

^ I prefer he does not enter the 90s. That is when he soaks up deliveries. 80 to 85 is good total for him.

Re: 2nd ODI: Australia v India at Brisbane, Jan 15, 2016

India avoid to score 300 in the 3rd to avoid hattrick
