wht if some1’s huby dies n she is pregnant wth his baby can u get married 2 other person after 3 months of idat or she has 2 wait for delivery n thn can get married is idat must on pregnant women or not?

I've heard delivery is iddat for pregnant woman, not sure though.

if her husband dies and she delivers a baby in few days then her iddat time will going to waive and she no longer needs to complete it.
however if her husband dies and no baby delivers within 3 months then I dont see any religious ruling against marriage.
basically, she is free to marry if she is not in iddat.
you can also check with local imam/aalim to conform above masla.

let me give u the whole situation a girl got married n soon after wedding her huby dies now family is pressurizing her 2 marry his huby cusn since she is young instead of making her out of family they want her 2 stay wth them but of course they want her 2 remarry since she was newly wed n whole life is in front of her she is unsure of her pregnacy she feels like pregnant but not confirmed so wht should she do? she has already completed her idat.... wht if she finds out after 2nd wedding tht she is pregnant.....

islamically, if she delivers a baby after second marriage then father of the child will be second husband irrespective of her past intimacy with 1st husband.

I think she should get a confirmation of her pregnancy first, she can go to the doctor and have a simple blood or urine test done. How can she "feel" she is pregnant without getting a confirmation? What decade is she living in?
Also iddat for a non-pregnant woman is 4 months and 10 days not 3 months.
She can complete the 4 months and 10 days and she can get married given that she is not pregnant.
If she is pregnant, she cannot re-marry till the day of her baby's delivery.
After the delivery of the baby the iddat will be over and she can get married the next day even.
Someone said if the baby was delivered during the second marriage it would be the second dad's baby? How is this even Islamic? Islam places a lot of emphasis on correct determination of paternity and the baby will always be the biological father's not the second husband's.
To safeguard against this conundrum of whether the child is from the first or second father, a woman has to wait till she has delivered.

awww thnkx 4 the reply ladies she is in difficult situation she did home test for pregnancy which came negative but she has nausea n missed periods due 2 idat she cant go 2 doctor but now since idat is complete shel go to the doctor i think nausea n missed period may be bc of emotional period she is gng through she havnt told any1 in her family about this pregnancy issue
as far as wedding is concerned she dont want 2 mary any1 if she is pregnant else she l get married only bc of her family n in laws pressure she needs prayers i request plz remmeber her in ur prayers she is one of my very close frnd she discusses every thing wth me i m confused how to guide her i just asked her 2 visit doctor thn lets c wht happens :(

People are so concerned about the Islamic rulings of the iddat period.......but they seem to have forgotten that it's a gunnah to force someone to marry...such a marriage is not valid. Or maybe they haven't forgotten...but simply choose to ignore. This woman is mourning the loss of her husband. That's difficult enough. She may also have to go through the stress of pregnancy if that's confirmed...and to throw another marriage into the mix....that's a lot on her plate. I just hope that this guy that they're pressuring her to marry will be a good husband to her and care for her child, and that she comes to love him.

even if she cant make it to the hospital there can be a home visit, nurse (female) can come and collect urine sample. and that can be taken for testing.
the best way to determine pregnancy is of course the ultrasound but she can wait for that
pregnancy tests sometimes give false negatives especially if done too early.

How does iddat prevent one from going to the Dr?
Are they not allowed to leave the home? or is it a matter of meeting a na mehram male? (and in that case....isn't it ok to see a Dr????)

Your post is really confusing,if her idat is completed that means her husband passed away around 4 months back and clearly if she is pregnant then they had sex 4/5 months back and in 4/5 months baby bump is visible then why isn't she sure abt her pregnancy???

ok guys she is not pregnant but mentally v distrubed i have asked her 2 move 2 her parents house n get married only if she wants as her in laws r forcing her

I really feel for this girl , she may even be having pesudo symptoms for pregnancy on the basis that its her way of keeping on to her husband through a child.
She is under a lot of stress and it is unfair to force her to make a decision and give her more turmoil..
My thoughts go out to this girl
