29th Death Anniversary of ZAB

Re: 29th Death Anniversary of ZAB

LOL, reality hurts some jealous people :cb:

PPP and Bhutto’s legacy are stronger than ever, whether you like it or not

Re: 29th Death Anniversary of ZAB

What Butto did:
1. Screwed over our economy so broadly that we are not recovering from it to this day.
2. Screwed over our nation and split it in two.
3. Screwed over the people by not doing anything in terms of real development.

Lastly just from a spiritual stand point the Bhutto family is cursed.
Father Hanged.
Sons killed.
Daughter Assassinated.

Allah really doesn't like the family.

Re: 29th Death Anniversary of ZAB

darpok. cant answer my simple questions and the only way you know how to run around is by whimpering about envy and prejudism. :)

You can agree with TRD as much as you want, we have already established that there is a big difference between PML-N supporters and PPP supporters and it is showing more and more :)

if you are not afraid as you are trying to convince yourself, how about giving answers to these 3 questions :p

1) did Zulfukar accept the victory of Mujeeb or not?
2) what was the economic performance of the Zulfukar Regime.
3) bhutto was a minister in a military dictatorship or not?

Re: 29th Death Anniversary of ZAB

CM, Jiyalay can only see your logic if they can stick their heads out of sand.

ask them what they think about al zulfukar and let them tell you it was a boyscout troop.

Re: 29th Death Anniversary of ZAB

He was a great leader. He was falsely accused and hanged on the basis of a flawed case against himself. The entire world requested that he not be hanged and condemned his hanging.

Hats off to him! May Allah (swt) bless his soul and give him a place in paradise.

Re: 29th Death Anniversary of ZAB

Great leaders give great results. what were his great results in office.

Re: 29th Death Anniversary of ZAB

The people support for the party he created is a living example of his "results". That too, long after he deceased, and PPP still enjoys a broad-based support from all provinces. :)

But a bold one would be the Nukes that Pakistan possesses right now were a result of his efforts, he recruited and encouraged AQ Khan to return and work for Pakistan.

Just one of many................

Re: 29th Death Anniversary of ZAB

Having a political party that is an ongoign concern would make maududi and altaf great leaders too.

nukes, sure he played a role in it, good work. what else.

I think earlier in the thread the topic was economic results of bhutto regime. lets hear it.

Re: 29th Death Anniversary of ZAB

Altaf outright calls the making of Pakistan a mistake! Leader? I think not....traitor's more like it. but hey someone's traitor might be someone else's leader. so i won't mess with that. We all know where he (as an individual) stands....

Re: 29th Death Anniversary of ZAB

Agreed the example was meant to illustrate that having followers and a party is not proof of greatness, looks like we agree. So you see the fallacy of the argument that just because a man formed a politial entity that is a going concern that he is a GREAT leader. Zulfukar has in his resume refusing to accept election results, being a participant and pawn in events, decisions and people who broke up the country for their own power. But as they say someone's traitor may be someone else's leader.

Was Maududi a GREAT leader? because JI is a big party? I need to call it a day, gives you enough time to find economic and social accomplishments of Zulfukar.

Re: 29th Death Anniversary of ZAB

I doub't you will get an answer from blind guppies but I will try my best to the best of me knowledge..

1) No he did not
2) Terrible, CM can shed some light on the subject
3) Yes he was

And that is JAB in a nutshell.

Re: 29th Death Anniversary of ZAB

Zia was a true patriot.. pakka momin.. God bless his soul. Not only he saved Pakistan from Russians and scared hell out of the Indians, he brought Islamic culture back and made us realized that we are muslims first!

Re: 29th Death Anniversary of ZAB

other great accomplishments of Zulfukar. per his lyalists pakistan has not seen another leader like him. I can only say. Thanks to Allah that we have not..

  1. Operation Gibraltar...period.

  2. Acquiescence and collaboration with a military regime of Ayub by being his Defense Minister and displaying his true insidious and conniving traits by endearingly calling Ayub "daddy".

  3. Doing everything in his power to ensure no cease fire would be declared on the eastern front during ’71, which included tearing up the Poland resolution at UN, thereby negating any hopes of retaining the Eastern Wing.

  4. Manipulating Yahya to become biased against Mujeeb and by threatening to break the legs of all the MNA from the Western wing attending the session called by Mujeeb in Dhaka and thereby sealing the fate of a unified Pakistan once and for all.

  5. Introducing totalitarian and despotic methods unknown in the Sub-continental political culture by first creating the FSF and then using it to murder/assassinate political opponents, harass ordinary citizens and bringing Pakistan in the same league as the police states of Middle East ruled by megalomaniacs. Per his personal confidant Rafi Raza, was infatuated with Hitler and tried to emulate his tactics. Asked each member of the cabinet to assume a role performed by Hitler’s henchmen, Kosar Niazi was told to act like Goebbels… Mumtaz Bhutto in Sindh to be Heinrich Himmler, and Rafi Raza as Production Minister to be another Albert Speer.

  6. Absolutely destroying Pakistan’s economy and industrial base by Nationalization. This was such profound crime that it alone is enough to leave Bhutto eternally damned. Pakistan still has not recovered from this debacle and remains an agrarian economy to this day. Rupee was valued about same as the dollar when Bhutto took over, this equation had been sustained since independence…but when the masses were relieved of Bhutto’s tyranny, the rupee had devalued a thousand percent.

  7. Used the PAF to strafe and bomb innocent Balochi women and children during his brutal and inhumane suppression of the Balochi nationalists.

Re: 29th Death Anniversary of ZAB

There are millions of Pakistanies who love Zia and Ayub as well.

Re: 29th Death Anniversary of ZAB

Do they turn out in their masses for his death anniversary?

Do they support their children to continue their legacy?

NO. There is no comparison.

Re: 29th Death Anniversary of ZAB

Look the only Comparison I make Realdeal is how Allah defines them in this life. While these other Leaders and their families now live in peace. The Bhutto clan gets murdered and assassinated. One has to take in to account how the family has been plagued by death and grief for 30 years now and it is not letting up.

Lanat hai in kay upar.

Re: 29th Death Anniversary of ZAB

Family is 'cursed' because they die? LOL, who doesn't??

How do you know about how other families live?

The Bhutto's could easily live a luxury life and forget about Pakistan, but they don't and put themselves in harm's way continuously.

Re: 29th Death Anniversary of ZAB

oh get over it.

masses dont turn out for Quaid e Azam's death anniversary, by your criterion ZAB was a bigger leader than this nation's first leader. on the other hand Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti would trump ZAB, since more people turn up on his grave.

Re: 29th Death Anniversary of ZAB

ravage,

You are comparing apples with oranges.:)

Re: 29th Death Anniversary of ZAB

its a ridiculous topic. he was a politician of his time, no better or worse than the cartoons today. okay maybe a little better, atleast he was articulate.

there is not a single contribution today of the guy to the country. by contribution i mean a positive thing that you can say was entirely his. nuclear programme? Pakistan did its first test 20 years after he died, so it wasnt really all him. Success has a thousand fathers, and this one has everyone beginning from ZAB, Zia, NS, AQ Khan to the janitor at KANUPP. And even if he does get credit for initiating the nuclear programme, so what? it was one sensible decision, are we living on such pittance that we are joyously dancing on the streets because a guy got something right thirty years ago?

what else? tell me one thing that the world has to remember Bhutto by? as for masses remembering him, kill altaf hussain today and see if he isnt lionized for generations.
