Re: 28th Match, Group B: Bangladesh v England at Chittagong - Mar 11, 2011
Chris Gayle is suffering from an abdominal strain, he's not playing. So Nagraj's doubts have been confirmed. Shivnarine Chanderpaul will open with Devon Smith.
Toss: Porterfield has won the toss and opted to field. They like chasing, these Irish. Also, it's a morning start, so there is a bit of assistance the bowlers can expect out of the conditions in the early hours. Trent Johnston misses out after picking up an injury in the previous game.
Re: 28th Match, Group B: Bangladesh v England at Chittagong - Mar 11, 2011
My Prediction:
If England bats first, England openers will score a decent partnership but their middle order will stumble with stupid outs. England will manage to make between 200-240.
Bangladesh will open strong but then quick succession of wickets will occur. Nevertheless, Bangladesh will give chase but will fail by a razor thin margin.
If Bangladesh bats first, Bangladesh will start off slow but pick up momentum later as the match goes on, scoring atleast 75 runs in the last 10 overs to reach close 250-280.
England will give chase, but lose their openers in quick succession. Middle Order will stabilize but England will be unsucessful in chase attempt.
So in summary:
If England bats first, they win, If Bangladesh bats first, they win. :)
