28 days later

That movie was about the end of the world as we know it.

But 28 days from now, Pakistan will be ready for the **
8 Jan 2008 National Elections**. It seems the country’s most crucial and historic polls in recent decades.

What do you guys expect?

What will be the outcome?

Which party seems to be winning?

What will the losing parties’ reactions be?

If it’s a coalition govt, how will it work in Pakistan’s political environment?

Will things really function well with Gen Mush as Pres once elections are over and a govt is elected?

Re: 28 days later

We are just pawns on a great chess board, the players are not local, the outcome is 'written on the wall", I don't need to speculate intelligently about it.
its a selection of the puppets, who can serve his excellency, who ,on his own part, has to serve a bigger master. Pakistan is a stage , where an international consortium of writers is engaged in playing a drama written with the blood of innocent civilians, for the benefit of huge business tycoons. To cut a sorry figure, some local extras are using real guns at the concluding act.

For all practical purposes its not an "election" its a 'selection" of those who can provide a status quo to a system that will collapse soon after it is realized that it has lived up to usefulness.

Re: 28 days later

Well said!

Guys check what Desmond Tutu, a South African cleric and activist has to say on qualities of a leader. Worth Watching! Sadly none of our politicians presently running for NA fit the pre-reqs of being a leader, let alone being one for public. All of them are just interested in pilling gold stacks for themselves…

Pata nahee kia kaha ap ney, paley nahee para..laiken acha tha...lol

Re: 28 days later

Thank god you didnt write the name of immi bahi. Good to see more people are accepting mushi as savior of Pakistan.

God bless President Musharraf for helping imran to win his only seat in previous elections :jhanda:

Re: 28 days later

Dream on that people are accepting Musharraf. Musharraf has no interest in the public interest, all he cares is his kursi. Maybe it is time that you take this black band off your eyes and accept the reality. Imran khan is selfless person, he certainly is not after power, too bad at the moment he doesn’t have the support of right people but inshahAllah eventually more people like him will come forward and join him.

Re: 28 days later

^^ 10 years a long time for any politican for atleast stand on ground. I feel pity on imm bahi, what a looser. Tell him to please do something for Pakistan (i know about cup & hospital).

God bless President Musharraf for allowing desi drinks to be bottled :jhanda:

Re: 28 days later

Well time for you to check the all his projects in mianwali and then open your mouth. In a country like pakistan 10 years in nothing for a shareef politician who is honest to the people and not his bank accounts.

Re: 28 days later

^^ well then you should check thr lahore local government and karachi local gov projects. Sorry, immi still losing anything else?

Re: 28 days later

There is a difference b/w government and 1 person. If the local governments of karachi and lahore have nothing to show then they should die with shame.
