The worst-hit areas were Malir, Landhi, North Karachi, Surjani, F.B. Area, Baldia, Lyari and Orangi. The law-enforcers stayed away from trouble spots and were seen only on main roads.
This tells you how sincere government and law enforcement agencies are sincere with the city, if you care to remember Aafaq Ahmad was recently released, I knew blood-riot is on its way.
i read somewhere ... these animals are using sophisticated weapons like machine guns, assault rifles such as the AK-47 and .222 rifles. ... from where do they get all these weapons !!??
The only addition to "sophisticated" weaponry is rockets, all others have been available in large quantities ever since we welcomed Afghan muhajireen.
As long Karachi is hijacked by blood sucker mqm, Karachi will remain as killing field for mostly innocent people. According to interior minister, even killing machines have been imported from Israel for killing people of Karachi.
Killing machine was actually recently exported out of jail aka Aafaq Ahmad, you need to ask our ministry why he was released.

Nowhere did I say that MQM is angelic. But I do put blame of this RECENT VIOLENCE on PPP Sindh's racist leaders like Mirza.
You said earlier that these things don't happen anywhere else, except Karachi. What do you think is the reason?

however, i do feel that khi being the multicultural city ... has nothing to do with this fact that there are killings everyday! ... diversity is not the root cause here ... we should stop blaming ethnic groups for all the violence ... , yes they might be involved somehow... but i still strongly feel that .... alot of other elements are taking advantage of these situtations ... or perhaps they are provoking things ... to get wht they want ... political parties need to realize that nobody gets anything out of this ... they should stand together, and end this blaming game for once and all .. cuz every Karachiite is a victim here .. we all are bleeding green!!! ...

Ghunda gardi yes but not killings like mqm. Can you even quote one example like mqm does in Karachi? In another thread I had mentioned that AH was regular visitor of Sain GM Syed head of Jeay Sindh to get his aashiwar:)

On the other hand, Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah told the media that President Zardari has assured the Sindh government that they would be provided 40 armoured personnel carriers (APC) for operations against terrorists especially in no-go areas.
The home minister brought up the shortage of police and other facilities at their meeting. President Zardari directed him to appoint 10,000 personnel – 5,000 in Karachi and the remaining in other districts to fill the gap.
Patrolling
The Sindh government has decided to set up permanent check posts for the Rangers and the police in the more dangerous areas of Karachi.
This was decided at a law and order meeting held at Chief Minister House. CM Qaim Ali Shah presided over the meeting.
The inspector general of police (IGP), Wajid Durrani, and the home minister, Manzoor Wassan, briefed Shah about the on-going turf war between the rival groups, which has claimed dozens of lives in Malir, Khokhrapar and other areas of the city.
During the meeting, Shah directed officials to take action against the suspects involved in the violence and terrorist acts without considering their political affiliation.
Shah ordered the acting DG Rangers and the police chief to increase the deployment of police and paramilitary forces in dangerous areas.
Shah expressed his sorrow about the recent wave of crime in the last few days and offered condolences to the people who had been affected. He added that the number of police and Rangers would be increased in affected areas, the people involved in firing incidents would be arrested and the patrolling of Rangers and police would be extended. “Peace will be restored fully in all areas of the city, as Karachi is the economic hub of the country and millions of unemployed and poor people from various parts of the country come here to earn a livelihood,” said Shah.
The IGP and the home minister informed Shah that the provincial government had banned pillion riding in Karachi once again.

Ahhh the MQM propaganda has worked on you.
PML-N,PTI,PML-Q,PPP, are not based on criminal activities, killing, and terrorism like MQM.
These parties contain some people who commit crimes, but these parties do not contain killers and criminal from top to bottom like the MQM.

I doubt your from Karachi. So I can understand the false propaganda that was fed to you.
ANP and PPP are the biggest racist parties in Karachi. Zulfiqar Mirza is the biggest example and then you have ANP who preach extremism against urdu speakers in mosques. ANP leader Shahi Syed even promised to turn Karachi into Kabul. Not to mention his racist speeches calling for example calling all urdu speakers to be kicked out of Karachi.
If ANP and PPP cared for Karachi they would have actually made some developments happen in Karachi. Mustafa Kamal is a shining example of an MQM Nazim who transformed Karachi.
PPP and ANP have power right now, they haven't done jacksh!t to help Karachi. Instead have only taken it 1000 years backwards by restoring the commissioner system.
