In light of our history and recent events, it is time for the parliament to take necessary steps to assert civilian authority and debate at length the allocations made to the military from the national exchequer.
This should have been done since 1947. But as usual military bosses will never like this, and try to keep its upper hand over civilians. It will be a miracle if this happens.
