Its frigid cold this weekend. But all I’m hoping for it to be the last cold wave of this season.

TEMPERATURES SATURDAY NIGHT INTO EARLY SUNDAY MORNING WILL FALL CLOSE TO ZERO IN AND AROUND NEW YORK CITY… AND ZERO TO 5 BELOW ACROSS LONG ISLAND… INTERIOR NORTHEAST NEW JERSEY… THE LOWER HUDSON VALLEY… AND SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT. WIND CHILL VALUES DURING THIS TIME COULD REACH LIFE THREATENING LEVELS AS COLD AS 20 TO 25 BELOW ZERO.
HIGH TEMPERATURES ON SUNDAY WILL ONLY BE IN THE TEENS.
COLD SPELLS OF THIS MAGNITUDE BRING A RISK OF FROSTBITE AND HYPOTHERMIA FOR ANYONE WHO DOES NOT TAKE PROPER PRECAUTIONS. IN ADDITION… FROZEN PIPES AND OVERWORKED FURNACES COULD LEAVE YOUR HOUSE WITHOUT HEAT OR RUNNING WATER… AND CAR BATTERIES RUN THE RISK OF DYING.

We had the mildest January and Feb in as far as I can remember, first time I have seen plus 10 in Feb. Normally not unusual to see -35 in Feb.

^ I think we're the polar vortex hit it's very cold.
Two years ago I was trapped off Chicago during the coders day in circa 40 years. The drive from o hare to site was absolutely nerve wracking. It was un fudginly cold.
Never again. Found religion that trip.

Move to Houston. This morning it was 63 F and is supposed to be in the 80's F this whole week in the afternoon.

Look at the roller-coaster weather. We were complaining of getting frozen over the weekend. Whole day Monday it snowed but in night and today entire day it rained with temprature in 50s. Coming back home from work it was thrilling to see there is hardly any snow left, especially the front/back yards are all green. Alhamdulillah! :)

We are having fun here in Alberta!!! Its been +double digits most these two weeks..only one day we went -8!! On Wednesday last week we were +15!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wohoooo!!!
