24 pack or Bottle

What do you think is more sufficient?

Would a 24 pack of soda cans do? or Soda bottle(s)?

Which would have more bang for the buck? Which can you get more of for the amount of $$ spent?

If you really wanna see a bang, try throwing a bottle of soda from three storeys up. Bottle definitely beats out can any day, any temperature.. I hope that helps.

:hehe:

Save money. Drink tap water.

We were having this very debate the other day funnily enough. Buying a bottle of soda works out more cost effective than a 24 pack. However when you get half way through the bottle the sodas not as fizzy as it was when newly opened. 24 packs are good because they are more portable, you can drink straight out the can and its always fizzy.

Hope this helps!

Shahreen :k: better than the rest of the replies here.

I think your right, but that fizz can be conserved by a fizz pump? can’t it?

The way I see it, it depends on the situation. If you’re having a party, dawat or whatnot than battles are a better bargain. People have this annoying greedy tendency to open up a can and only take a few sips and than the whole drink goes to waste (especially kids) so its better to have a bottle so they pour in the amount they want. Buying a 24 pack is a good value if you drink it occasionally or if only some choose to drink it.

By the way what’s a fizz pump?

A fizz pump is a bottle cap that replaces the generic one and has a pump on top of it to push air inwards keeping the pop fizzed up.

Coconut, I suppose you could use a fizz pump but that's just extra hassle you could do without. I also thought of another point, depending on how eco friendly you are. Cans are easier to recycle than the bottles unless I suppose you buy the glass bottles in which case my point has no point. Oh well.

Alright, I've concluded that cans are good for the occassional personal drink, whereas bottle for party purposes. Then the bottle is cost effective but it leaks out the fizz. Hmm...decisions decisions, I think I'll change to natural flavored spring water (i.e. Portello).

Just to be difficult here, how about getting one of those Sodastream machines, then you make your own fizzy drinks any time

those soda stream machines aren't tasteful and expensive, not to mention time consuming. to get return value out of those machine it would take a few thousand mediocre drinks to make. i don't think its worth it. how much are they anyways? what about the ingredients? which ones would u get?

we used to have one of those machine, they aren't really that good plus you still have to buy the gas cannisters and flavourings etc etc so I doubt you're saving money except if you're making gallons and gallons of soda.

They also make one heck of a mess when you overfizz the soda!

geez..you guys still haven't figured out how to get more bang for your buck...wasn't that the question originally..tut-tut..

Hmm... If you have nothing to contribute then why not just moderate silently.
