These images bring some fond memories from the days I used to attend these parades every year.

A very happy Pakistan day to all Pakistanis wherever they are! Let's hope and pray that this parade marks the return of good old times.
It was a splendid parade! Feel so proud see the mere glimpse of breathtaking potential of Pakistan's armed forces. There should be absolutely no doubt that Pakistan Armed forces possess every possible ability destroy their enemies. This parade is a huge statement of Pakistan's regaining confidence and national pride. May we see the parade happening every year from now on.
Every Pakistani - no matter where they are - feels rejuvenated by sense of patriotism today. Thanks a lot for this moment Gen. Raheel Sharif.

Why we don’t celebrate March 26
A day which the majority of people , independents of 14 August 1947 celebrate as Independence Day
Re: 23rd March 2015 - Pics
BTW 23rd is Shaheed Divas/Day in India. On the same day Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev were hanged in lahore for raising voice against British Raj.
What a coincidence.
Re: 23rd March 2015 - Pics
The 75th Pakistan Day Parade was a Historic first in many ways, it was the first parade in which F16 D Block 52+ adorned the sky. The first parade in which the current PAF Chief led the fly past. And more important than all, the first parade which was telecasted from the ground as well as from the sky.
The skills and stamina shown by ACM Sohail Aman in navigating 8+ Gs forces while taking the aircraft through a vertical climb with Aileron rolls shows the high level of training and battle fitness amongst the top echelon of PAF Officers.

^ Such a thrilling video. Many thanks for posting it, and thanks for making this thread.
This was not just another annual parade with the usual protocols and pomp. It was a parade embedded with extremely important reminders, messages, promises and guarantees to the nation. We so needed that. As a result every Pakistani - whether he's in or out of the country- feel refreshed with a sense of sweet confidence and national pride. This just shows how we actually did indeed miss the National Day parade in all those seven years. Yesterday's parade made every Pakistani realise - and rightly so- that the reason why Qauid's lasting promise that no power can undo Pakistan is still intact is simply due to our Armed Forces!
Yesterday's parade proved that despite all our troubles and trails Pakistan is would never be another Iraq, Afghanistan, Kashmir or Syria. It is a nation highly capable of defending itself and causing absolute havoc to its enemies. Yet it is deeply unfortunate how we allow our enemies to malign our army and intelligence on these forums and various other online portals, and we ourselves take part in noxious smear campaign against Armed Forces and intelligence whenever it suits our political agenda.
But all this aside, yesterday's parade rekindled and re-energised the weary passion and national spirit in every single Pakistan, and that's all that matters. Let's savour these beautiful moments, and let's hope and pray that this parade, just like the good old times, become an annual event.
Pakistan Zindabad.

Re: 23rd March 2015 - Pics
We congratulate the whole nation of Pakistan on commemorating Pakistan Day. As we all know, Pakistan Day is observed on March 23 to commemorate the passage of the Lahore Resolution of 1940, now called the Pakistan Resolution, on March 23 1940 at the ground in Lahore where the Minar-e-Pakistan now stands.
It is no secret that the nation of Pakistan is facing various challenges and obstacles in the form of terrorism. It is our wish and desire to see peace prevail throughout the region. We stand with the nation during these testing times and wish a safe and secure future for the entire nation.
