I remember Razzaq coming after Umar fell, Misbah came when Afridi was dismissed.. will be glad to be proved wrong :)
If Razzaq had come after Misbah how could he (Razzaq) then be facing the 1st ball of the next over after Afridi was out (bowled) on the last ball of the previous over. THINK!!

Langeveldt to Shahid Afridi, OUT, 82.7 mph, Clatterr!! Afridi, again, moved outside leg and Langeveldt hurls it full on the off stump line. Afridi tries to glide it to third man but makes no contact. A breezy innings from Afridi. Shahid Afridi b Langeveldt 30 (18b 4x4 1x6) SR: 166.66 **

Re: 21st Match, Group E: Pakistan v South Africa at Gros Islet
FINALLY Pakistan won!!! I love how we sneak into semi-finals somehow. I saw another post saying Misbah-ul-Haq and Hafeez should be thrown out, and yes i completely agree.
** Razzaq came before Misbah**! Thats my argument against the misconception k why Misbah was sent before Razzaq. He was NOT! The commentary you just posted proves exactly that. Razzaq came to bat when Umar was out and he was at non-striking end when Afridi was dimissed so he faced the next ball of the next over!
Think!
following link proves that as well (if I believe Cricinfo scorecard is wrong)
Sorry Saby, my bad. got it terribly wrong in excitement. The site went down just at the wrong time
But I am not that impressed with Afridi's captaincy despite the win today. He needs to learn the art of captaincy and learn quickly. In the penultimate over for instance Afridi brought fine leg and short third man up when they should have been deep and saving boundaries.... and on both occasions Botha was able to loft the ball over the fielders and smack 4s!!
Younis Khan is a better captain IMO despite his childish tantrums at times
I don't know what you, Ehsan bhai and others think but I very strongly feel that Younis Khan should be the captain (and also for the test series in England) in the main world cup next year!

Its alright GA. Lets try to be appreciative of the good things that were produced today rather than trying to find thigns to criticize for. (example above)
I'd give you that Younis IS a better captain than Afridi.
BUT Afridi's captaincy has improved dramatically in last two games. He was quite clueless against aussies (brainless as people have pointed out and some have taken extra steps in using non-sensical satires to berate him) But in last two games, his bowling changes and field placings have proven to be spot on most of the time. Decision to use Ajmal in a Gul-esque role has turned out to be a master stroke. As a captain, he played a very important cameo today scoring 30 off 18 balls. He has produced when it was REALLY needed today. Of course he still has a lot to learn and there are certain aspects need to be given more thought though (team selection etc) b
I think its about time we learn to give credit when its due :)
Afridi can be Younus’s deputy in the main cricket world cup next year. As for tests, Salman Butt (he is too nervy or tense in pressure situations; but we do not have many other bright options at the moment) should be Younus Khan’s deputy. Anyways that is what I think
True but your best batters should be playing the maximum no. of overs and Misbah is clearly not in form. Razzaq esp. after his performance against NZ should have been promoted today
Has anyone watched the match or scorecard before criticizing for the sake of criticizing?
Kindly have a look at scorecard! Razzaq WAS promoted over Misbah!
Its actually useless talking about who came in first and who came in later in this particular situation as none of these two faced any balls until both Afridi and Umar were dismissed. In the end Misbah faced 7 balls and scored 3 runs while Razzaq faced 10 balls and scored 11 runs.

Afridi captaincy has improved a lot in the last 2 games and I guess the only time he went wrong was in the second last over was Botha managed to score thsoe two boundaries because the third man and fine leg were up.
As I said in the Salman Butt thread, people need to give credit where it is due and not be critical just because they don't like that particular person for whatever reason. Remember just like players we fans are also not bigger than the game.
