Maybe there are thoughtful and sensitive Pakistani husbands who pay attention to little details out there, I just don't know of any. On the other hand the white guys that I know always do sweet little things for their wives and are always doing thing to make them happy. And don't get me wrong, I am not saying that all Pakistani husbands are bad or that they don't love their wives, they do, just in a different way.
How many guys do you know of who write sweet messages to their wives on the bathroom mirror? Or write their wives love notes?
Serafina, I know you are probably talking from your experience but let me tell you that there are, believe me, there are Pakistani husbands who pay attention to little details. Unfortunately many Pakistani women today have also become less grateful. Again, I am not saying ALL.
I know of several husbands who write beautiful notes for their wives, or send an email, or a text message, or go 20 miles after work in rush hour to a Godiva store to get her her favorite chocolate.
Sadly, I also know of wives whose husbands spend thousands of dollars to take them on vacation but the wife in return said she wanted to go to another location instead.
So there are all kinds really. I guess we all have our own experiences.
sure enough its happening in every muslim nation and is happening bcos governments don't do anything to stop it. the same governments which are there bcos western countries want them to be in power. no? look @ saudia. kingdom is there bcos US want them to rule those ppl with rules and policies no matter how barbaric they are. sure ppl can rebel against them but who will come to their help/aid. however i'm positive US will def bomb the hell out of them and then will label each of them as suspected terrorists. there goes your hope of sueing someone. as the saying goes...dead men tell no tales.
well i dont want u to predict future. government is not asking a 60 yr old to get married to an eight yr old or asking a man to throw acid on sumone lets talk about indiviuals aint these people muslims n trust me im the one who is living in pakistan im the one who goes to a ngo n see there is always a new case every day,if only u wuld count pakistani cases it ll be enuff for the whole western world to loose

I knew someone would say that. No, its not from my own experience, maybe part of it, but mostly its from friends experiences who have really insensitive husbands. When I started talking about my own experience its when they opened up about their own and trust me my relationship seems a lot better than theirs. I guess I mostly talk to girls so i know their side more and I don't know the husband's sides or what they think.

so then u go to these NGOs, meet all these victims n do wht? ur there n are in a much better position to help them...are you doing that? as for government not asking...well the government is not doing anything to prevent it either. a loud mouth can be as damaging as a silent one. in the end it all boils down to who has more muscles to flex. u can cry n whine about all the wrongs happening in pak...but if ppl of that country are not interested to correct things then not even God can help them. that is a country full of selfish, self-centered, greedy, dishonest, disloyal ppl n extremists.
