anyone else seen this movie?
powerful, beautifully written. great acting that didnt need makeup or a hundred stunt doubles. story could’ve pulled it off on its own without the Memento like editing.. but even that made sense. Because you knew who each character was almost from the start. you had context.
not your fecking fantasy ring world, for sure.
i so wanna see this! i missed out on watching it a few weeks ago....

its been a while since i sat through the credits of a movie and beyond, just thinking. love those kind of movies.
word of advice.. in order to fully appreciate the movie the first time round.. read an intelligent synopsis somewhere.. something that gives nothing away but sorta gives you context.
the thing is my friend sorta gave it away.. she told me what the whole 21 grams thing was about...

21 grams was an awesome movie, i saw it a while back when it first came out.
but my friends and i walked out of the movie theater feeling drained.
we were speechless.
sean penn was great, he really deserved the oscar for that performance and i was happy to see that he did get it! :)
sadzzz, its one of those emotionally draining movies, so be ware!
^^ and so is "I am Sam" - I'm waiting for 21 grams to come out on Video - think its due out on March 16th and will surely see it then. I was really taken aback by Penn's acting in I am Sam and that's when I saw a couple of his other older movies.

correct me if I am wrong.. but I think Sean Penn won teh Award for Mystic River not 21grams.. I might be wrong, but this is what I am thinking all along.

and Sean penn was not nominated for 21 grams.
i have not watched this film but it sure be good with cast of Watts, Benicio and Sean.
