He gave that away and then took it back as a result of famous 18th amendment, where the decision of the party head has to be accepted by all elected members of the parliaments…failing to do so would or can have them suspended… so the President of Pakistan who happened to be the Chairman of the party have the upper hand any way..
Situation is worse in PML-N’s case, where the party head is not even the elected member of the parliament!!!
