We can have our reservations regarding the current army chief but he seems to have operated professionally thus far. He could have toppled the government at the height of dharna but he preferred to stay away from politics. Terrorism in the country is down by 70 %. According to foreign policy magazine,Pakistan is winning the war against terrorism. Actually, Pakistan Is Winning Its War on Terror | Foreign Policy ,the results of local govt polls show that the establishment did not side with any party.

Means after 2016 is over, there wont be security checks all over the roads, there won't be mobile and internet services jammed, VIPs shall not be blocking trafic in the name of security protocols, civilians shall not be checked while entering cantonment area...
On top of that, all terrorists of SSP aka ASWJ or Jhangvi factions shall be sent to hell...all terrorists of MQM and Sindhi and Baloch rebels shall be in hell.
TTP shall be thing of past...

Seems more like a dream than anything.
The people of Pakistan will never see an end of these security and protocols......it will continue as current. Nobody will give that up.
Secondly, this kind of statement is just a statement, otherwise we see how randomly attacks and bombs just go off anywhere in pakistan, and the parties and factions that do these things never get totally finished, time and again they come back and kill/injure scores of common people while these elites run to dubai/london/saudia/usa when they get flu. (elites include both military and politicians)
So is the military going to accep responsibility if even a single person gets injured/killed in any attack AFTER 2016 ?
I find it hard to believe this statement, is he trying to save his izzat after the mardan incident ??

Army is ending the terrorist groups the Army created, and have caused so much destruction in civil society......only taking action when they turned on the Army!
Hopefully next time these Generals won't unleash such evil on the country again!
